DII Class A,AA, and AAA state titles? Any early predicitions before the state tournaments get under way? Good luck to all the teams!

D1 privates ARE allowed to have athletes on finnancial aid, BUT they can not play anything higher than the JV level. Also, its not like these schools "recruit." They do not go out and look for kids to give financial aid to that can help them in a particular sport.

The TranSouth is a very tough conference. It has Cumberland ('05 Nat'l Champs and '06 Runners-Up) and Trevecca Nazarene University (my alma mater) who always will contend with Cumberland for the Conference and Region Titles. It also has Union University and Freed-Hardeman who is a team on the rise. With the addition of about 3 new schools, the TranSouth is only going to get tougher and more competitive. I think its one of the best conferences, if not THE best conference in all of NAIA. Good luck to all of the Bethel signees and all of the teams in the TranSouth.

Davidson Academy will run away with the state AGAIN!!! Their closest game came in the semis of the state playoffs. They won that one 20-14. Their next closest game was to Bishop Byrne who they beat to win the regular season like 27-7. DA then went on to beat Bishop Byrne AGAIN in the state championship by 21 points. Bishop Byrne had been in the state championship game for 4 straight years and had won the last 3 state championships. So, as you can tell, my vote obviously goes to DA!!! It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they went undefeated again in the region.

Anybody have any ideas on the Class A level? It looks like PJP II and MBA for Class AA and AAA.

Who are the heavy favorites for DII Class A, AA, and AAA?

Curious as to who you all think will win the D II Small School Divison State Title this year?

I'm sorry that I have to post this on the softball message board, but it will not let me post on the baseball message board. Does anyone know who is in the running for the Cumberland County Head Baseball Coaching position? Any reply would be helpful.
