  1. Lol! Who knows where this conversation could go next.....you might be right uknoit2, bigfoot and global warming.......Nah, let's get to some football. I was going to Hampton when the streak of 10 began from 1997 to 2003. Cloudland is always a big rivalry no matter who is favored. Until Hampton started playing Cosby on a regular basis, I didn't know where it was or anything, all I knew was Cloudland used to put it on them back in the day. After 2005 the rivalry really got its fuel for me from 2006 with all that happened. I have since put that stuff behind me and I think we all should. The people that were running that program back then are no longer there so it isn't much of a rivalry anymore. It is a region game but that is all. The bigger rivals for me are Cloudland, Happy Valley, Unicoi, Johnson County, and Unaka. As for North Greene, the Dogs have never lost to them ever and I see no reason for the streak to end. Hampton has something to prove and I believe they will play a complete game this Friday against North Greene. GO DOGS!!!!!
  2. Hope the Canes are back to full strength. This team has been hit by injuries hard this season. #55, #16, #74, #23, and #56 have all been out. Hope these young men are back this week. Either way I'll be in the stands pullin for my Canes. GO CANES!!!!!!
  3. Lol Yeah, I'm not out to ruffle any feathers either but sometimes it happens. Moving past all that stuff that happened years ago......I think that Hampton will improve the rest of the way through and gain some confidence back along the way. The Dogs are hopefully on a roll when they go up to Roan Mountain.
  4. I agree Pujo, You are right on the money ole buddy.
  5. Very much agree. From what we've seen so far this region this season anything could happen. I still believe the Dogs are gonna turn some headed before this season is over.
  6. The Dogs are gonna get it back on track this week. As far as the the region championship goes I'd say Cloudland is the favorite right now and the rest we'll just have to see how it plays out. Anything can happen this year.
  7. I agree with you as well Pujo! I believe this team will turn some heads before the season is over.
  8. I agree with you completely. This team has huge upside for the future. I guarantee you they won't want to feel the way they felt Friday night again.
  9. Didn't quite see what I thought I was gonna see on Friday night. The Dogs seemed to be flat all night but they did play hard the entire game. They also didn't seem to respond well to adversity. It was good to see that they started to fight through it in the 4th quarter. Responding well to adversity and overcoming it will come with experience. This group is very young and from what I saw on Friday they have a lot of potential and upside. Can't wait to see them next year That being said this season isn't over. The Dogs can still make some noise. It starts this Friday in Baileyton against North Greene. I enjoyed my trip back to Hampton. Everything from the facilities to the atmosphere was great. Nothing like a football Friday in Bulldog Country. GO DOGS!!!!
  10. Cant wait to see everything. Heading your way about 2 o'clock. GO DOGS!!!!!
  11. One day closer......Always good to hear the Dogs are ready to go!
  12. Getting closer to game day. Let's go Dogs!!!!!
  13. Geez you guys, this game is over. No need to bring up bad baggage out of the closet. Whether or not a player should be allowed to play because of their past isn't something to be discussed on a message board. Both teams played hard. This game was a victory for anyone that was in attendance to see it. Over 7000 people were there. It was a great game. Pittman is a Bull and Ooltewah may or may not have won this game without him. The same could be said if the Canes had been missing Moore at QB. None of that matters now. I was there and both teams to me pretty much even. I dont think either one is better than the other. Let this one fall to the side and focus on the next opponents.
  14. No I wasn't able to make it to any last season. Been counting down the days.
  15. Looking foward to being there this Friday night. Can't wait to see my Dogs in action. GO DOGS!!!!!
  16. Congrats to the Owls on the win. They beat the Canes up all night in the trenches. Never thought I would see a team be more physical than East Hamilton but we did last night. #3 for Ooltewah is a beast. Nobody could stop him and it seemed at times that some EH defenders were afraid to hit him. The Canes did a great job of not throwing in the towel. The Chattanooga area has two very good teams that could very well see each other again come playoff time. Hope that happens. Itd be another standing room only affair.
  17. This game will be a battle to the end tomorrow night. The Canes will bring the speed, passing game, and great secondary. The Owls will have the power, running game, and front seven. Because of the rivalry between the two schools this game could go either way. Looking forward to seeing this battle. GO CANES!!!
  18. That's right!!! Let's get it going this season. I can't wait to be there in two weeks.
  19. Thanks unknoit2 for the updates......Hope the injuries aren't serious......Go Dogs!!!!
  20. It's game day. Let's Go Dogs!!!!!! Pujo and Uknoit2 will you keep us updated tonight?
  21. I like your confidence Pujo!! I'm with you on this one.
