I think TN High has enough guns to beat DB but the question is can they hold it together for 4 quarters? I do not think so. I would not be surprised to see TN High jump to a quick lead, say 14-0 but they will have to play ball control and eat the clock. They have the tools to do it but I don't see it happening. The fan base is starting to partially implode... I wondered how long it would take. Some people screaming to pull certain players from the game are showing their lack of football knowledge and being very disrespectful to those players and their families. I have been there with my own son and I know how hard it is on the kids and also how hard it is to restrain from confrontation with those "all knowing" individuals who seem to have the magic formula for success. There is a difference in the way the players perform in the 1st quarter versus say the 4th quarter when they are down 3 or 4 touchdowns. Some things that players do that seem absurd or stupid are actually just a "last ditch effort" to try to achieve success but when it happens all the "coaches" in the stands want to pull in the backups thinking that for some reason the 2nd and 3rd teams can do a better job. That may very well be the case in some instances but for the most part it is not. Also, the players who get singled out are the very same ones that the fans put on a pedestal when things are good. Everyone wonders "why did he get tackled" or "who was he throwing it to" but they fail to see that he had no hole to run through or that his receivers were covered. The blame is not on one player for losing. It takes the whole team and people need to remember that on Friday night.

Closest game this week could be Boone - Central..... I know , I know don't bash me just yet. Central would need a few breaks and I do not think they can stop Boone and maybe not even slow them down. But I do think with a couple key turnovers and a favorable penalty or two it could be somewhat close. Boone 38 Central 21

Not as bad as Volunteer would have hated to be TN High last week.

It would be a great game to see. On paper, Indians should win and they did "beat" Greeneville in a scrimmage. On the field I would pay good money to see it. TriCitiesSports stated that Greeneville's QB Carmichael didn't play in the scrimmage....any truth to that? Of course they also referred to Morristown West as the Hurricanes so maybe they were talking about another scrimmage altogether.

No way South wins this one this year. I can say that without fear since CAP1 ate ALL the CROWS last week.

So I guess after reading this "little Johnny" cannot be allowed in at Alcoa. He is 6'6" 320 lbs. Benches 450+ Squats small tractors and runs a 4.4 Voted best lineman in Texas his Freshman year. But, woe is me, he only has a 2.5 GPA and his TCAPS stink. Yeah right, keep on believin'. Not hatin'....just sayin'. My guess would be that some "tutoring" would be available if needed.

I'll take that one. Even GVille won't run it up that much.

Good game by North, congratulations on the win and good luck. Way too many mistakes at crucial times and the defense played good they were just on the field too long. I think I heard about 16 or 17 freshmen came out. No freshmen squad this year. As far as where the kids are going, probably like most others....XBOX, Band, or the bleachers.
