You guys just come on down to J. Fred Johnson in Kingsport if you all want to hear some rowdy fans and see some good football.

Went and watched the scrimmage and Clark is playing on trying to win with about 15 players again this year. I saw some very tired boys out on the field today.

I'm disappointed about this message board no one is nearly excited enough about DB football. I'll tell you how practice is going #15 mark irwin has some skill and will be playing tail back in the scrimmage, Lawson will be at fullback and linebacker, Bateman will be at end like last year. Most of our line will be there except Tilden Flemming who is one heck of a player. Sylvester will be at wide reicever and some tailback. Roop at QB but will be replaced with Crawford when he gets back. Hoover is not gonna be a go to reciever. Templeton at tight end and linebacker. Edwards is hurt. Conley the new kid is not the athlete he was made out to be but will provide help on o and d line. The linemen for d and o are Bateman, Carter, Tompkins, Church, Bowyer, Hanson, Collins, Conley, and thats about as deep as they go, till Flemming gets back. Steele, Sensabaugh, Crawford, Doran, Flemming, Micheals, are most of the key players that are still out. Once everyone gets back look for the tribe to roll baby. Look for an exciting, hard hitting, fun scrimmage. The Indians are coming to Halls to get better and thats what they will do. Good luck to both teams. The kids name is Desmond. Now i dont know about all this 4.5 speed or anything and we don't know how much of a player he really is until they put the pads on. But he does have good size. He is about 6'1 probably about 230 240ish one of the two. Good sized boy. Did say he used to play QB at his old school in the Boone, NC area. But we will find out how much of a player he is come spring practice time and we will go from there.

To all these guys talking about speed there is another freshman than can keep up with anyone and thats Derek Steel. He has a set of wheels on him. Sterling Throp can move to. Some of u might not know him but Mark Erwin probably runs the 4.7-4.6 40 range.

Look for the Indians o-line to be strong once again next year with #68 Andrew Tompkins, #67 Ryan church, #65 Bateman, #66 Tilden Flemming, and many more solid players to help up front. At the skill positions look for Edwards and Templeton to play at the tight end position. Of course the all mighty #32 at halfback, and # 45 Jordan Lawson to be in at fullback. Crawford will more than likely go back to QB. Look for Justin Sylvester and Sterling Throp to pay at wide outs. Now on the other side of the ball we will have the lock down ends with Bateman, Flemming, Carter, and maybe Bowyer. The nose position looks like it will plug up the middle pretty well with Samuel Collins and Andrew Tompkins playing in there. Then theres linebacker which we should be much stronger at this year with experienced upcoming Jr. Jason Michaels, And James Templeton. Look for #52 Robby Bowyer and # 45 Jordan Lawson to move in at the backer position to compete for Mike linebacker. The secondary looks questionable but im sure we will find quality players to fill the positions with the only returning starter back #2 Justin Sylvester who is a darn good corner. But look for players like Throp, Tyler Brown, and maybe Upcoming sophomore Derek Steele who has a set of wheels on him to fill those positions nicely. The future of the tribe looks good to me. All these picks of Farragut winning by 3 Td's or more is stupid. They may win the game but DB will battle to hard for 4 quarters and it will be close. No doubt it will be close. Indians are to proud to let it get out of hand.

The Indians will have a tough time this week. I know they can win this game but if they will is the question. Sterling for Farragut has rushed for more than 2,500 yards and thats just unreal. I've seen this kid play on film and he is not easy to tackle. The Indians have the defense and the defensive coaching they will need. But i don't know if the linebackers will be able to hold up against this kid. But i have faith in my Indians. I think this will be and overtime game and the Indians hold on. Great respect for both programs. I haven't seen the Owls play this year but i have seen Bearden. And the bulldogs are a sound defensive team. Just a guess more than a prediction. Owls 24 Bulldogs 35

Man i am excited about this game two of the best teams in state year in and year out. One of east Tn biggest rivalry's. At J. Fred in the playoffs. Can't ask for much more. DB-24 OR-10 Good luck Indians Good luck Wildcats

I'm sorry CC fans but Indians are gonna continue there winning ways. I'd say it might be close in the first half but look for the Indians to pull away at home to secure there home field advantage in the playoffs. And as far as no region one teams winning in the first round, a young Indians team gave good scares to Oak Ridge and even William Blount, i think next time they will be more than just scares. DB is on a roll against these bad teams. this is just the practice the tribe needs to start clicking. The Hill Toppers will give them the little bit of competition to get ready for the playoffs. ROLL TRIBE

DB will not have to much trouble with this SC team. I wished it was more like last year with a close down to the wire game, and it very well may be. But from what i have heard and seen DB will get another big victory. DB 38- SC- 10 ROLL TRIBE

If you ask me the sky is the limit for these kids. They start off 1-3, Many fans lose faith in them, the kids start to hang there head when their school mates are telling them they are the worst DB team ever. With a little bit of support, confidence, coaching, and heart these kids can go as far as they want.

I am glad to see some tribe fans finally start rallying around this team. They will continue to get better and GC will continue to learn who to put where. I am excited about this team and everyone else should be to.

Tn High is not a bad football team. But i think Soloman and Science Hill just to much for the Vikings to over come.

Betsys not that good from what I've heard, could they pull the upset on DB. Or will this game be like most past meetings between these two teams. Predictions please.

Two very good football teams being a DB fan i went to watch both our Maryville scrimmage and our game against William Blount. Maryville is a very sound fundamental team and very well coached. On the other hand i haven't seen a team bigger than William Blount this year. Im excited about this game and i don't live anywhere near Blount county. So I'm gonna say that William Blount gets the W in this one because i think they will want it worst and their size advantage up front will really make a difference. Hope Brent Burnette will get someone to block TJ Walker.

well guys all i know is that our ball game will be here in less than 48 hours and i am excited to get after those Wildcats with this great group of young men. These guys will be able to bring it together on offense, sooner or later. Seeing how the game is so close to being here hopefully sooner. If you no these kids they believe in each other and they have the athletic ability. If it don't happen this week then it will the week after. Once they start to play their weak conference ( besides a few other schools) then these guys will come together and make a pretty darn good offense and football team. Watch and see Watchdog.

I've been to watch a few Indian practices this week and these boys are fired up and I'm believing in them. They have made many changes on offense. From personel to formations and i think Indian fans will like it. I say the Tribe's offense gets it rolling this week and the defense continues to play amazing. Indians win this one 21-13. Shew i don't know where to start this week' big game and i am excited. The Indians are gonna give the cats all they want and hopefully more. If Db's offense can just even get lucky two or three plays for TD's then the Indians win this ball game. But if the offense continues to sputter look for another hard fought defensive battle and Oak Ridge to take the win. Good luck to both teams.

Well everyone Bearden is supposed to be the power house in the big east this year. Does anyone seeing DB growing up enough to knock off the bulldogs? Lets get this one started i want to hear what everyone has to say.

It was a good game, closer than most expected i would say. Db had a few chances they missed or dropped. One or two more big plays and it would have been even closer. William Blount is a good team and i expect for Db to see them again in the playoffs. Db keeps getting a little better every week. Passing game was a little better this week. Still needs work though. I say in about 2 or 3 more weeks DB will be a force, and a tough opponent for anyone. Good luck to both teams.
