Yeah, I think the main reason we've been doing bad is declining numbers. We still have the atheletes, just not as many of them going out for Varsity. I know quite a few people who quit after their Freshman year due to not wanting to play for Zeller. Another problem is that tuition rates have been going up. We used to get a lot of the cream of the county school crop to come to GHS, but that's not so much the case anymore.

I'm going to go with the underdog here (funny to call an unbeaten an underdog) and say West wins by a touchdown. I think this is the night they get the Maryville monkey off their back. Plus, if they win, it makes the spanking they give us look a lot better.

I'd have to give that 79 from Greeneville a nod.... The right tackle and guard from Cherokee were by far the best O-Lineman I faced this year, unsure of their name or number though.

We are missing Greenway, but our backup has had a good week of practice and I believe he's going to do a lot better than people are giving him credit for. Also, our defense is back to full strength with Bannach and Brimer back.

Danny is going to be out for most of the season. But we have a couple of great backups in Arrington and Stewart, they didn't seem to miss a beat last friday night. Looking forward to this game, don't look for a repeat of the homecoming a couple years ago.

The scrimmage was really pretty close. On varsity, there was a big play or two for either side, and we ended up coming out on top of it. I think our D really stepped it up though, being as small as we are.
