Thanks cardfan, that's not what I was saying. After hearing what happened, sounds like it was a helmet straight to the thigh, though. Keep this player in your thoughts and prayers. He's out for the season. He won't be able to even put any weight on this leg for 6-8 weeks. This is really tough on a young man whose whole life was football. You know he must be feeling pretty down right now.

Should be an interesting game. I think FW will win. They are strong this year. Haywood has some tough talent though. We will see!

That's terrible! Hate to hear that. No kid on any team should have to go through that. McNairy did tend to "cut at the knees" most of the night. I would hate to think that was what caused it. My prayers are with him.

Was at the South Side v McNairy Central game last night and one of the SS players got hurt in the 4th qtr. Has anyone heard how he is? What were his injuries? Everyone keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

First of all, South Side isn't 4-0 yet. Secondly, they have tonight and next Friday night to focus on first. I think both teams will bring a lot to the game. I think it will come down to the defenses to battle it out. Let's hope South Side can continue what they have been doing all season!

well, I'm hoping South Side will. I think both teams are doing great this year and feel this is the game to see this season. Hopefully South Side fans will show up and cheer on their team. They did this past week. I think it will be a tough battle defensively for both teams..........Good luck south side.

All I was saying is JCS was tougher than it looked. Defense had a little tougher time with JCS than they have had the two games prior. SS deserves all the recognition for a great game......I was not trying to take anything away from them. It would be nice, though, if there were some coverage on how well South Side is playing.

I agree. We need not underestimate any team at this point. When you do, you get beat. All of these teams should take it one game at a time and learn from each one. The JCS game wasn't as big a blowout as it looked. These kids were tough and just didn't execute like they should. Good luck to them all!

I was very proud of South Side last night. The first play of the game and JCS scored, but South Side never let up after that. Scored 55 unanswered points.......defense has still not allowed any points. Alot to be proud of!

Congrats South Side. They really looked good last night. Defense had a tougher team tonight, however, they still played good. One of the D-line stripped the ball twice, same kid. Too many turnovers for JCS and they just couldn't hang with SS's variety of running backs. Also, defensive line is quick off the ball and broke up many plays. South Side has a great all around team this year. I was really proud of the offense tonight as well.

I think Humboldt will upset Lexington. Whether or not they do, I think it will be a good game.

I think South Side really wants this game and they aren't underestimating a thing. They are ready to fight! As for the injury rumor...........just that.......a rumor. This team is pumped up!

Don't overlook J. Forrest for South Side...he's the real deal

It is really early in the season to say South Side or Fayette Ware or Lexington will win the region. I would like to see it for South Side, they have a good group of kids this year that have a lot of talent and are very overlooked. I think it rests with the defense.

Again, I think they will win. Its going to be nice to see them up against some competition. We will see what they are made of, at least more so this week.

I agree! I think this is their first true test. If the defense can keep dominating allowing their offense more time on the field, I think they (SS) will win by 2 TDs. I think offense needs some work still ... (on the line), but they are doing great and I wish them all the best!
