  1. I think it'll be a rivalry from now on. If nothing else the gate will be too good to pass up, but I don't think SC will go 5A. I think they'll be 4A with Beech, Portland, etc.
  2. Great post. I'll bet Hendersonville will take it more seriously next year. They were in a no-win situation last night. Nothing to gain, everything to lose.
  3. There should be some kind of rule about pre-teens posting on Coach T. I'm just waiting to hear "nya" or, "I know you are but what am I".... How in the world does a 5A school with great tradition let a NEW 3A school even stay on the SAME FIELD, let alone win the game? Hendersonville overlooked SC. They came in arrogant, SC came in like they had nothing to lose. Hendersonville got smacked in the mouth. 'Nuff said.
  4. This game shouldn't have been close. Hendersonville has had this game circled as a win all summer, but made too many mistakes to beat anyone. There were several dropped passes, several penalties, especially the motion and illegal procedure penalties. Neither team handled things well in the last five minutes. SC looked lost right after the HHS touchdown in the fourth, then after the punt, HHS looked desperate. I agree the clock didn't start when it should have, but the clock operator WAS an official. Actually, watch the tape and you'll see several times during the game the clock didn't start when it should have, or kept running when it should have been stopped. Everyone noticed the instance before the field goal, but there were clock issues all night. Plus, when the ball was snapped for the kick, there were 10 seconds left on the clock. SC only needed one second on the clock to run a play. If more than nine seconds ran off the clock, HHS has a gripe. If not, quit whining and move on.
  5. Wilson Central scrimmage is at Station Camp. At Harpeth, not sure about Trousdale.
  6. Is this message from a Cline, Slaven or Vannoy?
