  1. the most physical team will win. and DCA has to find somebody who can cover Marlon Brown.
  2. I know Harding is in the small division, but keep an eye on WR/DB Marlon Brown. The kid is a 6'6" 218lb athlete with great speed, great vision, and great jumping ability. Going into his junior season he already has a full scholarship offer from Ole Miss and will most likely see a lot more offers.
  3. Division 2 is going to look completely different next year. who do you think will win state? D2 small-ST. George's, Davidson Academy, Harding Academy, FACS, SBEC, Rossville, Tipton Rosemark, Bishop Byrne D2 Large- Battle Ground Academy, ECS, Ensworth, Knox Webb, Pope John Paul 2, St. Benedict, CBHS, MUS, Baylor, Brentwood, Briarcrest, MBA, Father Ryan, McCallie
  4. Well I agree with you that Marlon is better than Ferrakon, but I still think Marlon is the best. He is 6'5" yet he can handle the ball and play pointguard. He gives a lot of assists, blocks a lot of shots, steals a lot of passes, and scores a lot of points. I still think that Marlon's attitude can carry him farther than anyone in the state. He very unselfish. Marlon is one of the most incredible athletes Ive seen in a while. Leslie is very good, but I think that Marlon is better.
  5. Marlon Brown from Harding was the best sophomore in the state until he tore his meniscus. He held Ferrakon Hall to like ten points while he scored 19. He also held Leslie McDonald to only 12 points while he scored about 22. He plays defense very well and at 6'5" or 6'6" he handles the ball like a pointguard. We will have to wait till next year though to see his true talent because he is out for the rest of the season.
  6. harding 27 webb 26. that is all that matters. Harding is simply never mentally prepared to beat ECS. If they went at ECS the same way they took on Webb and PJP, the game would be a lot closer.
  7. Undefeated Fayette play @ Harding (6-2) fri night. Any predictions? Can Fayette be beaten?
  8. I think Harding has a chance if they can get the ball in the hands of Marlon Brown. Not one of ECS's db's has a chance with him one on one, and he is deceptively strong. Harding might have enough speed to compete with ECS's passing game, but their d-line is lacking some much needed size.
  9. Harding plays @ ECS thurs. night . ECS has a huge advantage b/c they had an off week last week and have at least eight days to prepare for the game. Harding has three days to prepare. I dont know if that is enough time for Harding to prepare for any chance of an upset. Any thoughts?
  10. I also have seen the film, and I still dont think that he made that catch. The ball came out, but yes, a rematch of these two teams will probably take place @ PJPII, and It should be a great battle. And I was not saying that Harding didnt commit penalties, but PJPII did get away without having some flags thrown. But I cant wait till November!
  11. First of all, Harding got the bad side of several bad calls. The pass that was originally called a fumble on Hardings final drive in regulation was incomplete, and even if it was a catch, the ground caused the fumble. Also, on Golden Tate's interception in OT, he did not catch the ball. He even admitted after the game that he did not catch it. The game was at Harding, but Harding still could not get a call. Both teams still played well, but I would like to see a game between these two good teams again. Golden Tate vs Marlon Brown is a great battle.
