  1. Wow!!! An "okay" post??? To hear that coming from you, I know I didn't offend anyone. ha!
  2. A fan from DC aggreed with one of my posts??? Wow, I guess I did put enough time into it. (I thought about, researched, and edited twice) Just wanted to change the flow of things. You hit the nail on the head! Heck yeah, I would smile, I was trying to prove a point that Coach Beck wasn't going off on Rex for taking off his jersey. (at least in front of everyone) He wasn't because he was smiling because of the win. (Someone, might of been you idk, said before that Beck was trying to tell him to put the jersey back on and that he was being stern about it)
  3. Wow, what are we doing? This is crazy! Dyer County is the better team, yes, I typed that . . . BUT the assistant in black for DC was smiling while talking to Rex P. Take my word.(probably won't . . . o well) The refs were inconsistant. Bad calls both ways. I have read every single post on both threads. (Dyer County Bulldogs, and DB.DC.3) The thing I notice is that regardless of what we say, we are going to defend our schools no matter what. We will say "good luck" or "gg" or "you are good", but we (notice I say we) are going to post things even if we know that they are wrong as long as we think they will strengthen our respected school's image. That's the bottom line. The Yankee fan on here obvisouly holds a grudge against Dyersburg from when they played Jackson teams in District play, or maybe that person is a DC supporter. adsmom is . . . well . . . very excited about her team, but seems to be a bit border line on somethings (but so am I) forkeddeer9022, is well, upset. Rightfully so, DC fans, the reason you feel the way you do (puleeze . . . don't be offended in all seriousnes!) is because for almost 6 years, you lost to DB in football, the Lady Trojans held a 12 straight winning streak against you, and our boys team had put up some pretty . . . well wide-margined victories over the years. Again I know this is the past, but hang with me, I'm trying to prove a point . . . Dec. 6, 2003, 44-41; Trojan win. Dec. 19, 2004, 54-43; Trojan win. Jan 13, 2004, 62-49; Trojan win. Dec 10, 2005, 72-41, Trojan win. Dec. 17, 2005, 53-29; Trojan win. Jan. 6, 2006, 72-41; Trojan win. Jan. 31, 2006, 75-34; Trojan win. And ya'll want more than anything to enjoy this year of athletics (especially the wins against DB, and rightfully so. . . . Then comes the controversial team change. DC wins 5 in a row. They deserved it, they also get a win football. You people know how it feels to lose (no offense, everybody loses, that's the point) . Must of DC's fans know how to handle winning because they were around when the chocs won a state title in football, or they were around when DC went to state in basketball back in . . . 2001 (I think) The problem is arising when some fans don't know how to handle winning, but the problem also is largely at Dyersburg. Some people in Dyersburg are too young or to ignorant to know how to handle losing. They have seen the success over the years, and don't know how to lose to DC. People that's the problem. The tides have changed. Dyer County has/is beating Dyersburg in the two "fan friendly" sports. (basketball and football) Live with it! There time will end, our's will come. We'll have to see how long it takes. It might be a year or maybe even 15. I hope people understand this and the meaning. I also hope it isn't taken the wrong way. I'm just trying to ease things in a civil, fair way, and I expect DC fans to post the scores of your 5 straight wins because my point wasn't to brag, but to prove a point. GO CHOCTAWS, GO TROJANS, AND GOOD NIGHT. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  4. I am not the one that brought up ACT scores. Check again.
  5. Dyersburg increased by 200 students since last school year. As for "messin" . . . that's for the outhouse . . . I can't recognize sarcasim when it's in the form of text on a computer monitor. aaahhhhhhh . . . I love it!!! I'm being serious when I type that!
  6. OOO . . . THAT'S A ROAST . . . I'M BURNIG AS WE SPEAK! $6,500,000 in SCHOLARSHIPS . . . DHS Class of 2007
  7. Okay, I was in the student section, and when the altercation occured I did not . . . in all honesty . . . see a student on the court, but I am not saying that there weren't any students down there. Happy? Call me a liar if you wish, but I didn't see it. BUT we would not be talking about this if there was no altercation. As for football . . . this is a basketball thread, DC won in football . . . and they deserved it. As for the student section . . . Dyersburg's standing students went to the rail at the top of the lower section . . . from my perspective DC's did not. OoO . . . RIVALY /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  8. NO, what it comes down to is that *some* of Dyer County's basketball team has no class. An incidental elbow to the head happens all of the time in basketball. Throwing punches does not. The Dyersburg student section was not "spilling out on the floor", and if Dyer County's *TWO* players had not shown deliberate physical aggression towards Dyersburg's *TWO* players we all would not have been stuck in such an unsafe, uncomfortable situation. Don't try to shift the blame to student section of Dyersburg, which by the way doubled Dyer County's in number and noise. The physical altercation was 100% DC. It is shame, because none of this happened before last year, when the Trojans had a 7 GAME streak on DC. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Dyersburg loss, yes. For the most part Dyer County deserved to win, yes. Congratualations Dyer County!!! You have NBA superstars! Congrats to the Dyersburg squad!!! You have class and you will all most definantly succeed in life. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> WAY TO GO LADY TROJANS!!! 10 IN A ROW!!!
  9. Here's a link to a map of J.P. Freeman Stadium. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?count...ubmit=Get%2BMap
  10. Thanks Galilee. Trojan fans - be sure you go to the game Friday. Be loud, be safe, and don't get lost. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  11. Can anyone clarify which stadium the game will played at? I'm assuming that Mitchell doesn't have their own stadium. I have heard people say that it will be at the fair-grounds, but I have my doubts about that.
  12. I don't know what is going on, but this statement did not come from the real mattfromdburg. Don't know how it happened, but I DID NOT TYPE THIS! Heck I don't believe what it says, much less have the nerve to put that on coacht. GO CHOCTAWS! GO TROJANS! . . .
  13. They can make it to the semi-finals, but they need to improve on the secondary and the o-line. JUST DO WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN!
  14. IF Dyersburg and Dyer County win their games in round-1 . . . Dyer County will most likely be playing Haywood, and Dyersburg will most likely be having to travel to Memphis to take on Mitchell, a team that I'm pretty sure beat Christian Brothers and Melrose!!! Not to down our teams or anything, but the chances of both of OUR teams making to the quarter finals aren't in our favor. It is possible, if both teams play with their "A" games, but it WILL take their "A" games. No costly turnovers and no personal fouls!!! Go Trojans!
  15. how can dyer county be the best team in the state??? they are not even the best in dyer county.
  16. I bet you duck hunted with my dad in a QUACKER BOX a few times . . . if that doesn't flip a switch on, ask #64's dad. Yeah, trojanfan56 can't be with us anymore!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. It doesn't offend me! It was just a friendly, fun jesture. I root for the Choctaws every game, every sport, until they play DHS. Heck, I went to the borro to watch the Choctaws in the state tournament, and sat with a close friend of yours, HECK i think i might have sat next to you! Don't take offense to my post, and don't consider me one of those that "hates the other", and I hate it that your having to drive as far as you are to watch your son. Thanks for the "open invitation", and GO TROJANS! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  18. Comon Dyersburg!!! Enough with the finger pointing!!! The TROJANS lost, and no1 is completely responsible for the loss! BE PROUD AND STAY FOCUSED, AND IF ON NOVEMBER 23 THE TROJANS AND CHOCS ARE STILL ALIVE WE WILL BE GLAD TO HAVE A REMATCH!!! Until then, one game at a time. GO TROJANS!
  19. You seem to be sooo interested in the DHS-Coivington thread, I just thought I would come return the favor!
  20. Please don't say anything about the students!!! I am a student at DHS and I have missed 3 games since the 7th grade!!! I yelled my heart out the entire game against DC!!! It is the "OLDER" people that have the problem, not the students!!! Why are we downing our own fans??? Why can't the ones of us who do get loud rally around our team?!? Your obvisouly one of the, fans that does yell! BUT correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember you saying in one of your posts that you sat on the away side?!? Is that you or someone else??? IF IT IS DON'T QUESTION TROJAN FAN'S SPIRIT IF YOU SAT WITH DC FANS!
  21. Alright . . . well you did admit to doing it, your obviously mad because you were roasted. Like you said it's over and done with, DC won, they deserved it. CONGRATS!!! I have two good friends that play for DC and I am glad for them. I hope to see a rematch on November 23!!! And by the way we are the same age sooo . . . i guess we're both "KIDS"!?!
  22. The people that cleaned YOUR mess up weren't the people that ran over B.A.'s jersey!?! You embarrassed your school, and you are a disgrace to society. If we get to play again, it'll be at your place. I'll be sure to have fun tailgating, but I will have the respect and common courtesy to pick up my trash! You are the DC equivalent to trojan_56 ,and you are no better than the trash you left on the ground!!! Now go rope some livestock or something and get ready for the Cavaliers!!!
  23. I don't guess you were one of the fans from DC that tailgaited by the baseball field, and left piles of trash everywhere on the ground?!?
  24. DHS SENIORS IN '07 HAD MORE THAN TRIPLE THE SCHOLARSHIP MONEY DC SENIORS HAD IN '07!!! BUT ONCE AGAIN THIS IS ABOUT FOOTBALL, SOOO MY POST SHOULD STOP ALL THE EDUCATION TALK, SINCE IT CLEARY PUTS IT TO REST!
