  1. hard to say on this one. both teams got whipped by a 5A school last week. And both teams have injuries. The rumor is that South lost two of their best running backs. One got a foot injury and the other got a shoulder injury I belive it was Flether and Collings. But also rumor is Central lost their starting Center to a ACL injury and is out for the season. He was their best lineman a division I college type player according to the newspapers. I belive it was Crowder. So both offenses are going to be having a tough time at it.
  2. Well, I missed it by one touchdown. I was very impressed overall with our team. Our D line did great against there run and I bleive we took away their whole game plan by doing that. Our QB surpised me with his feet. We're looking to have a great season. Central on the other hand like I said before continues to make those bad mistakes on the sidelines. They acted like they couldn't get the plays in on time and couldn't get the right players in the game. Hate to say it again, Poor Coaches, Good Players on that team. I think we will dominate the season! Go TOPPERS!
  3. The South will definitely Rise Again! We have Great players, Great coaches! South v. Happy Valley, a good warm up, welcome to death valley, South +28 South v. Dobyns Bennett, time for revenge, good match until 4th Qtr, South +9 South v. Central, tough players, bad coaches, South + 21 South v. Greeneville, some big players, skilled players outgunned, South +14 South v. Johson Co., lacks depth, beat in 4th Qtr, South +12 South v. TN High, best matchup, Phillips connects for late 4th QTR win, South +6 South v. Elizabethton, home field advantage, defensive battle, South +14 South v. Unicoi Co., not enough good players, South +34 South v. North, big players, but they'll tire and get slow, South +14 South v. East, well coached but again no depth and good players tire, South +17
  4. I bleive we have as good a team as we had last year. In some ways better. Especially if our ball carriers get around the ends or in open field. And our big D is stronger. The only difference is we loose the home field advantage. Still I think the score will be close to last year. From what I read Sulivan Central is pretty much the same as last year, Sulivan Central Athletes=Big,Strong, Sulivan Central Coaches=Poor. I say its SH 40, SC 8.
