Bledsoe Co. Warrior

I spoke with Cody's uncle tonite at the little blue game, he said Cody is taking it very hard, his last chance to play Dumlap & he won't even be dressing out... It is a shame for sure, I still like my Warriors in the game though, Brandon Smith & Holden Boynton will both have to step up there game but I know both kids will give it there all.... Bledsoe will show up & play with HEART, without there Sick QB and all..... These Bledsoe County kids won't quit, & they won't back down either you can count on that. It will be a dog fight, & i am ready to see who wants to be the Big Dawg & who is ready to lay it all on the line in the most hated rivalry in Tennessee!!!!! 51 weeks of the year people from Sequatchie County are our neighbors, just so happens this is the off week for that & you become our enimies, it's not dislike ( if you born & raised in either of these 2 counties) it old fashioned, pure D Hate!!!!!

Just got word that Holloway went to the Dr. today & w2as told he could go back to school but no sports for 10 days. Sure hate to hear of this. Looks like Dumlap's luck is just as good as ever.

Jeff I haven't been on here because my boy is now playing for Reel, so I didn't get on here and speak very much although I was on here every 3 or 4 days reading. As for Coach & his playcalling we all know about his onside kick's this season and what it cost us. Coach Owensby is a man the people of this county better look at because when he goes elsewhere ( & he will very shortly if we don't make him our Head Coach) I think our program will drasticly fall without him. Reel has been here for several years (mostly as a assistant) & he was mediocore at best as a assistant, then he brings in Owensby & we all of a sudden start throwing the ball, putting big numbers up on offense, yet Reel's Defense looks no different than it has the past 6 or 7 years. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEE'S THIS?? Coach Owensby is the main reason for the past 2 years, & if people don't wake up & see that we will be back to Reel's 2 or 3 wins like when he was coaching for Boynton & Hubbie. Mark my words, I am one parent who is dreading to see it as my oldest has 3 more years, & my youngest will have 4 after that.

Anyone know of a High School Coach looking for a job that hates the on side kick play, were lookin' in Pikeville........... Last night was a pitiful excuse of playcalling late in the 4th quarter on our coach's part... Sorry, I know it's distasteful but it's really & truely the way I feel.... As hard as it is to say from a Warrior to a Indian but you & your COACH made the smart calls & played your game & you are moving on so congradulations.....

I hope Alcoa wants to put 50 on Milan simply because of the braggard fans they have. I have never seen such out of High School Football Fans. Talking down to people because of where they were born & raised, & taunting like little 3rd graders.... I hope ALCOA's coach see this and feels like I do about it...... It's sorta like when Dan Henderson fought Micheal Bispan & Knocked him out & got a good cheap shot in the mouth after the knockout..... I haven't been posting on here since my Warriors were knocked off by Loudon, but after reading these MILAN MORON's got on here & make fun of Mountain People & Taunt these other team fans & ect. I can't wait to see ALCOA (also mountain kids ) treat you bunch of retards like a red headed step child that was caught peepin in on granny.... Alcoa is going to show you what you can do with your smash mouth you brag about..... I bet this place is like a damg ghost town next weekend after the state champions are crowned... Grundy will be missing Coach Swafford this friday night like they have all season. As for the playing faith, Hubert scheduled as weak as he could to get some wins, he was making sure he didn't have to go 1-9 again. Reel can thank hubbie for that one I just hope we don't run into a stem winder in the first round of the playoffs with our weak schedule, we haven't played but 1 decent team this season & that was dunlap. We may be in for a culture shock if we draw a rough Smith Co. or someone in the first round.......

NOTHING BUT BLEDSOE BLUE

I haven't posted on this thread all week because I did not want our kids to get the big head when they read what I put on here. I see this game like the old adage, There is only 1 yard ( The District 7AA Championship) & 2 dogs. To be the big dog you have to beat the big dog, well seeing as how neither Sequatchie nor Bledsoe have been the Big dog this game ( FIGHT ) will determine who the big dog is. I think Bledsoe will come out and be hardnosed running alot between the tackles. I think they wear Dunlap's D-Line & LB's down in the 2nd half and that is where the game will be won or lost & I think it's Bledsoe who has the advantage there. If you are wearing the Blue remember if your not ready to fight for this win don't even put your pads on because Dunlap ain't going to lay down & give you nothing. You have to take it & you will but only after a hard fought fight. All the sweat & blood you have shed this season & all the offseason was for a reason & tonite is that reason. You have dominated Sequatchie all the way through Little Blue, Middle School, & now High School with the seniors only loosing to Sequatchie one time, you know how to get the job done you have done it all your young lives so just do what you have been doing, tighten that chin strap up & get ready to get " VERY VERY PHYSICAL" & play Warrior Football. I was not happy when coach Reel was hired but I was proven wrong as he has the attitude turned around & our kids are believing in them selves again. I have also not been a big Chase Brown fan as he has all all the potential in the world but never fully lived up to it until this year, I congradulate you Mr. Brown on your game attitude & play so far this year & I hope you continue that run tonite in Dunlap. I can not wait for 3 hours to get here as me & my grandkids are pumped & ready to cheer on the Warriors tonite. I think our kids will be ready & well prepaired by coach Reel & his staff. Like I said earlier this to me is a dog fight to see who the 7-AA Big Dog is & I see Bledsoe winning that dogfight on the back of Young Mr. Brown. I think we will see a low scoring game & Bledsoe winning 14-10 in a slobbernocker. I have only got to see 2 games this year due to my work schedule but the Notre Dame game I saw a team play as a team with heart & desire. I think the Warriors will relocate Chief Roaring Eagle to his rightful home looking over the hallways of the Blue & Gold. I hope to see every Warrior Fan in the county there tonite, let's pack the stands for our kids & show our coaches we support them. Go Big Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone heard anything on what's going on? Are the boys working out ? Running? Ect? It has been awfully quiet around town, I have rode past the field a few times this summer to see what's going on and seen nobody there each time I went by.... Just wondering what we are going to look like this fall, & what is coach Reel doing to get ready for the up comming season? BCW

What about the Whitwell Scrimage?????? I was out of town & didn't catch it, I heard from some long time Warrior faithful it was accually worse than we looked at Stone but we beat Whitwell? Can anyone shed light on this scrimmage? What did we run in this scrimmage? Yardage? Ect?

We sure looked pitiful againsed Stone, Reel has alot of work to do or we will be a 1 or 2 win team again.

I think we need to stay positive and give coach Reel a chance to prove himself, he should be on a short leash as he has done been in the program for several years. If we can get a quality assistant from outside I think it might be a BIG Help in the way the community is looking at things. I will admit it looks real bad, they ran Dickie off to give Johnny the job, what happens 5 strait loosing seasons, then they don't even interview and what happens next- Hubbie goes 2 more loosing season and basically we hit the rock bottom of warrior Football, then what happens we get 100 applications and we hire INHOUSE AGAIN?? I can see where people are very upset & also saying Jason is on a very short leash about producing W's in his first season. We need to get behind these kids and this program & support Warrior Ball if you agree with the politics or not. If Reel is a bust mabey Kiper will learn from his mistakes next time, I sure hope so as my children's future depend on his discissions & his hires & fires as does every other tax paying parent of this county. My kids are not in High School yet & I wasn't at the meeting Coach Reel had with the boys & parents..... Were any of you there & what did he have to say??? & Is Hubert going to be a Assistant????

JH said we were $10,000 away from Barger a proven program builder, it's sad we don't have another 10 grand to help our kids & mabey send some of these kids to college but we have 2 million to dig a perfectly good main street & brick it????? I think we need some new school board members & County Commisioners about election time.......

Slim if you haven't walked in our shoes & know the in's & outs of Bledsoe County School system & what the people of this county are going through & have went thru the past few years you really wouldn't understand.... We have kids than can compete with anyone until they reach the High School level & as a tax paying parent it is a hard to swallow that these kids just simply quit or have no heart. I played 2 years under Quay & 2 under Dickie Brown & never had a winning season in High School, but my 6th, 7th, and 8th grade year we beat nearly everyone we played.. During the Quay years I know if we had some different leadership we would have won alot more games as we had some players play college ball & a couple more that could have but didn't during the late 1980's and early 1990's, & we was just on the front end of Dickie Brown's good seasons... I see my kids growing up & the past couple of years they have not lost a ballgame & we have played alot of outside this valley teams, but when they get to be young High School aged kids they don't seem to have near the suscess...... If this 7 year stretch happened to your beloved Tigers I promise you my friend you would feel as we do if the school system kept hiring in house & kept have the same or worse results like our 1-9 season we just suffored through...

I do not personally know coach Reel, I have however seen his coaching ability the past 2 seasons under Roberson. He was the head coach againsed Upperman when Roberson was suspended for letting the kids beat the freshman up.. What did he do then?????????? 40-0............ I wish him all the luck in the world but it takes alot more than luck to build a program from where we are to respectable program.... What can he bring to the table as our head coach he hasn't brought as a assistant & if there is something my next question is why didn't he already bring that while he was a assistant?? I don't know of any other program around here that has the 7 year stretch we have had and would hire in house????? I hope I am dead wrong & If I am I will pubicly say I am wrong, but I think we hired a coach because of accessability & not having to move teachers & ect around instead of hiring the very best coach that applied for the position reguardless of what had to be done to get them..... Anyone who thinks this is not the case needs to get there head out of the sand or Bledsoe Co. Politics whichever may apply...
