Well ! I have read these postings and I cannot believe the trash that is being said. For one thing no one and I mean no one can predict the outcome of this game. These two teams will be pretty even and all this bragging in the posting of what is going to happen is just BRag that is all. I applaude the Falcons for not contributing to it. Way to go Falcons ! STAND UP AND BE PROUD you've fought hard to get here so MAKE THE MOST OF IT. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU. GO FALCONS

You know the saying,"Practice makes perfect" the Falcons may not be perfect yet but they show 100% improvement thanks to GREAT coaching. It takes time and Coach Rider has brought them to where they are. You are correct D and DD Rider should be the COACH of the YEAR. Don't let up now fellows the true test starts next Friday night whereever you go. You guys have proved what you can do so build on that this week. Thanks Coach Rider and assistant coaches you have made us proud.

We did score on East and on Greenville and that is a plus, and anyone can see that the Falcons has gotten better each week. BnB seems to be trying to get inside someones head. I don't think too many if any of the Falcons read these post until after the game. And B N B's long posting is just that L-----O----N----G, no one wants to win more than the Falcons and we have to give a lot of the credit to Coach Rider and the rest of the Coaches they are instrumental in bringing the team to the level they are now playing at. I know that most of the other teams dread to see this but HEY ChurchHill at one time was a powerhouse and they can & WILL be again. TO the team if you read this: Be Strong, Listen to your coaches, Play hard and Win, then take the accolades from your FANS in the Stands, they are behing you 100%. Don't Let Up. The whole team needs to shine just like they did at Boone, a team consists of 11 players and they all need to do their best in order to win. Coach Rider has worked with you guys all summer and school year and you are now showing you are a team. Don't let up, last week was the best football played at VHS in a long----------time. I don't believe message boards are set up for all the trash being talked here, I remember a time when the Blazer weren't so great either. This could be one of the best games and don't rule out an------upset-----. its time for Volunteer to get its game togather and Coach Rider has been working on getting the team there. We're here, just maintaing a quite demeanor for a few days,getting ready. I also believe we are about the same size as Gray, and Sulphur Springs maybe bigger. Check out the STATS for the Volunteer/Greenville game!!!! Then wonder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neither team should be underestimated. Volunteer did play MWest better than they played MEast and don' think they are not tough teams. I think most will be surprised with Volunteers defense. Predict the score NO WAY.

Too True, The Falcons can and will win when they play as a TEAM, and that means watching where the ball is, no missed tackles ,and opening holes for the backs. #23 forget all this junk that is written about you and about the team. This is just trying to psych you out, and that is all it is JUNK. Don't even get on this post and it isn't worth it. Laugh at them and then SHOW these people on the field. I don't know who you are nor do I care, but you seem to have misunderstood what DandDD stated,he was not comparing anyone to MEast all he said was that MEast should never have scored the number of points they did. I doubt they started the second string. If you happened to be at the MWest game I think you would know the falcons played better defense against them than they have against any other team they have played, they left their defense and offense in the field house that night, so before making comparisons wait until the season is over. Well said DandDD. I think the team got shook up in practice this week and I agree a good old fashion dose of the foot would be good. We are better than 3 of the other teams we played MEast should not have been allowed to score 43 points and everyone there know the team never took the field with a mind set to win. They can feel good about last nights game and use it as a tool to go out and Stand Up and Be Proud if they get behind a touch down don't give up just go out try harder. I AM PROUD OF YOU GUYS ! How about a change of attitude and encourage the team to be different this year. All is not lost, there are still games to play.

What does it take to be a good athlete? Hard Work, Determination, A desire to be a winner yet respect teammates and be a TEAM PLAYER Come on Falcons Show the fans, I admit if the fans would show more energy in the stands that would go a long way with the Team All is not lost, get ready and win this Friday Turn this thing around and show all of Hawkins County what Volunteer players are all about. Hey guys this is not what this website is for. Panther Vet doesn't need to be picking on one player and I doubt this is the worst Falcon team ever, I have seen them all to and nobody has anything to brag about in the past 20 plus years Volunteer has been in existance. When it comes to missed tackles and not knowing the plays that is another thing, when they do it in practice why can't the team execute when they get in a real game. I have to give the coach credit he seems to care for you guys but you don't seem to care about the team this is not an I or ME game it takes eleven men( and I do mean men) who will step up and get the job done. Think how much better you would feel with a win. And only by playing as a team can you get to that level. Forget the petty stuff and go out and win.

I second most of this, you guys know how to win you just need to DO it. This is an 11 man game and if one guy lets down it affects the whole team you all know that So PICK it up. Maybe coach needs to get tough, you need to show him you really do know how to play. You guys surely do not want to lose FAN SUPPORT and you will if you don't change the tempo of the games. Oh, I watched the game and what I preceived was a team who didn't have their head in the game, or their heart either. Personal fouls like the one Friday nite should not happen the guilty player should have been benched after the first infraction. The sad thing is you guys all know how to win(seems you have forgotten) you have been togather since middle school as a winning team, so don't stop now. Lets turn it around this Friday nite and play like a team without having 117 yds. in penalties. Show the fans what you are made of shake off the last game and start over. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!! HOW I WISH THIS SCORE WAS TRUE: BUT WE ALL KNOW WHAT THE SCORE REALLY WAS 23-6 PATS and they deserved it. What is wrong with the FALCONS anyone have a clue??????
