Compare the East program to any successful program in the state. Ask the successful programs what they do and how they do it. IMHO alot (not all) of East parents/fans/players simply do not understand what it takes to be a successful HS program.

Did Blade pull out of RHS because he knew it was already a done deal? I think it was removed because it had gotten very personal and very nasty. It was an interesting insight to the Springfield situation.

If you think that then you do not know much about the history of Dickson Co. football and its past head coaching hires. I think every single assistant is a DCHS alum.

Good luck to the new coach at PHS. I am sorry that he is having to get into a situation where he has fans that think they should have hired Quarrles, Rankin or maybe Urban Meyer. Portland is really struggling and it is going to take a while to rebuild.

Memphis is the "recruiting" capital of TN. As I understand it Memphis has very lax (almost non-existent) zones and kids are free to move about quite a bit. A friend told me it is kind of like the "wild west" in terms of recruiting laws.

Cheatham Co. does a grat job with what they have available. It seems they play Jackson SouthSides tails off in the playoffs.

Another sad situation for kids that want to play football. Look at their new region and they have a chance to win some games. They are not the only school in their new region currently "going through the motions". Takes a gutsy/hardworking administrator to go out and find good teachers that are also good football coaches. They are out there! It takes commitment and work to find them. Any job can be turned around (look at what Stewart Co. has done in the past 3 years). Best of luck to whoever takes that job. They need to go into it with eyes wide open.

DCA,Ezell, FRA and Nashville Christian will go D2. FCS will stay D1. CPA is a possibility but I believe they will stay d1.
