HOOT, HOOT THE BIG OWLS ARE COMING I know it is early in the week but I want to tell all the boys in C-TOWN, how proud I am of them. Big #21, #1, #30, #66, #26, #4, #33, #44, #68, #17, #2, #8, #16, #9, #56, #58, #65, #75 #59, heck the whole team. You guys stepped up and played your game. No missed tackles, no sloppy blocks, you knew your job and you did it. That is what makes a good team. You play as a team, you win as a team. You had a mission at hand and you took control and accomplished that mission. Well, here is another round 2, the time is at hand. Take control. Play hard. Go on or go home. You've been waiting now you got it, go up on that ridge and bring home what you left there the first time. Who cares who thinks what, you guys know what you are capable of doing as a TEAM, and that is all you need. Who cares who respects who, the main thing is self respect, and who cares who has been there and done that, this is NOW, not then. Come Friday night the team who plays as a team, plays hard and is coached well - will be victorious. I feel you guys don't need all that smack talking all you need to do is practice hard this week, stay focused, and play OWL football, so them on the field. With that said. Well, I have said it before and I will say it again. I am sooooooo proud of my 5th picked preseason team. No one believed in this team, but I did. They have stepped up and played like a real football team. It is now, do or die, and I believe all the boys on this team know that and things will be different this week then they were two weeks ago. The boys also remember the late hit, the multiple penalties, and the missed tackles. Not this week, #66 you better hit some body hard, put them on their backs, #30 and #21 strut your stuff, stick them and stick them hard, #26 get back there and sack that QB, and #4 keep hitting hard, and catching the ball. This is your year, make it a good one. Just remember all of us that will be cheering you on from the stands, and no matter what, you can still be my dogs if you don't never hunt again!!!! The dream is at hand, reach out and grab it. GO OWLS TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS - ONE FRIDAY NIGHT AT A TIME!!!! I want to invite all those creek bankers to join us this week and witness a good football game and hopefully everyone will be injury free, and it will be a clean game. I understand the reason for the score to Jackson, but I kinda was referring to a post on another thread also, about how our guys didn't want to dress out because it was going to be boring, well last night we did alot of eating and laughing about past games, and some talking about tonights game, which for all the macon co fans happens to be jackson, not the game of three weeks ago, and I let them know I hope they score enough to carry all the subs thru the game with more than a minute of playing time, I also told them I would love to see them do that with the next three games. Those boys are focused, and motivated!! Heck, the possibilities of post season play has them motivated to do their best every game. Well, I do wish everyone would quit talking about that stupid game up on the ridge, who cares that was weeks ago and alot of football still left. Who knows where my 5th place team will be when the season is over, but I guarantee it will be better than where they where picked in the preseason. These boys don't want their season to be over in three weeks. And all the smack talking and big head blowing that is coming from the other team is fine with me, the bigger they are the harder they fall, us, portland, and trousdale have been in the next season before, and all of you know, this is just the warm ups the real show starts in week 11, that is what tells the men from the boys. So just stay focused OWLS, keep taking care of business and lets get ready to dance. Actually, I would like to say good luck to all 4 - 3A teams, stay health, play hard, and look forward to the second season. Until we meet again. GO BIG OWLS!!!

First off I want to say, GO BIG OWLS!! TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS THIS WEEK. Then bean, you act as if it is a bad thing for the starters to come out of a game. Well the way I see it is if you are good enough to put up a score on the board in the first quarter to carry you through out the game then you must be pretty darn good and deserve to be able to come off the field with your fans cheering and then let the younger boys get some experience so that next year you won't be classified as a weak and rebuilding team. Yeah, I know that everyone of those boys love to play football, but why risk them getting hurt before the real competition begins, now I am not saying that you should over look any game, but hey if they play their ball, then they should be able to rest the rest of this fridays game and cheer on their other team mates, just like they do for them every week. All of the boys know how I feel about them, and it makes me well up with pride when I see them play hard, quick, and tough right off the bat and then as they come off the field with the score in our favor by bunches, then I clamp, scream, and cheer for them, because they earned it. That's what football is all about. If they don't play to their potential, I will be the first to tell them, but I also am one of the first to hung them and congrat them. So instead of being negative about them not playing 4 full quarters be proud they play well enough not to have to. What I would truly love to see is this friday night every fan at smith county get behing their team and out cheer the other fans across the field, you would be surprised what it does for the boys in black. PLAY HARD, PLAY TOUGH, WIN BIG - GO BIG OWLS!!!!!!!!

Alot of people seems to think TC will win, well, I don't see it happening, our boys have worked hard and are not going to go down easy especially after the L last week, they have a lot to prove and will do so Friday. If everyone spent as much time cheering at the games for the boys on the field as they do running their mouths on here, then all the stands would be full and everyone would be on their feet. Yes I feel like the boys of SC OWLS team are well capable of winning this game, if they play their game. So I am A TRUE SUPPORTER OF MY OWLS (your night chickens), and am looking forward to this weeks game, want to bet them purple and gold wasp bad. But I do hope it is a clean, non-jury game with a lot of spirit for the teams. GO OWLS STRUT YOUR STUFF, NUF SAID!!!!!

Generally I only get on and read what everyone has to say about the different teams, but in this case I have to reply. Sounds to me like the crew from Macon County really would love to beat Smith and even tring to use scare tatics to do so. I say let the boys show their stuff on the field, then you will know who is best between the two. As far as I know not a one of you who have posted are actual players just good team supporters, right? You even want to call us names like night chickens, I believe that is what our friends on the creek bank call us, are you tring to say you are like them. Are you that good all the sudden. Well, I say support your team, and when the game is over on Friday night don't have hard feelings toward the winner, which I hope to be my team the black and gold. But I will say one more thing, I ran into one of Macon County's coaches last Friday night and he didn't impress me at all. Matter of a fact he was very rude to a lady tring to be friendly. He was ask about his game and all he wanted to do was bad mouth smith county, and proceeded to tell me, how he was going to send us home with our tales between our legs. Usually, those that mouth are the ones that are scared, so I wished the rude coach good luck next friday night and was proud to leave as an owl fan. Maybe all of the smith countians will wear their pride and owl shirts and support their team proudly. I know I will. GO BIG OWLS!!! PLAY YOUR GAME AND TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS.
