Snoball and Roy are actually here with me on the ranch. Snoball is the medical doctor and Roy....well Roy is just Roy. You guys should come out and see this place. If you ever seen the commercials about the Heisman Trophy winners and the house they live it, that's about what we have here and add a 323 acre Ranch with it. BCB came to visit us last night. Chicken and Dumplings, Corn on the Cobb, Fried Potato Cakes, Corn Bread, and White Beans. Eddie stopped by too. He said it was so hard lying to those kids knowing TC is going to win tonight, but he wanted to try and help. He said the $500 the coach slipped him made it a lot easier to sell.
P.S.
Guys I've enjoyed the fun talk this week and didn't expect anything less. Now for the game, I think tonight will be a dandy. 2 of the best teams in 2A giving it everything they got to advance. I hope and pray for an injury free game and the best team to move on. My Prediction is TC-17 Watertown-10 (could easily go the other way). Good Luck to Watertown and Safe Travels to everyone. I've enjoyed it guys. Dutton is over and out!
Dutton aint got Nutton else to say.

That dude could still be here with another account. you never know with that cat. he is good entertainment.
My guess, him and Roy Dillard are out chasing chickens somewhere on John Dutton's Ranch.

Guys, be looking for the podcast to drop later this evening or early tomorrow morning. Some scheduling conflicts delayed some of the recording but I think the producer is mixing it up this evening. If I get word when it’s out, I’ll try to post here.

Yeah probably about 11 years ago ( mind you I hadn’t played in about 11 years then myself) I was playing a bunch of guys I grew up with in Lebanon and I made a ankle breaking move ( I’m thinking I’m the stuff at this point) went about 5 more yards and pulled a hamstring. I was done after that and haven’t played any kind of contact since then!
I am up for all time QB though... 50 Mississippi rule intact!!
We arent as young as we once were and our bodies will quickly let us know that!

We had a coach in Watertown one year that would pad up in practice.. No joke!
Seen that before too! (I also know said coach fully regretted the decision the following day as well!) bahaha

totally agree...
1 minute ago, H2Oman said:We’ll also need to change the goal line from 100 yards to about 10... big daddy here is only good for about 8 yards! We will have to hand it off to biggest for the last two!
We had an alumi game in 2013 (i think was the year) vs. Macon and I participated. First play I hit someone I swear I went crossed eyed for about 5 seconds. Had been 8+ years at that point since I had contact like that. We also had a guy blow a knee out.

We have fun poking at each other. Thankfully for both sides the kids decide the outcome. But I'm tired of eating crow. Truthfully we gotten to witness a new rivalry with some epic battles.
Idea and new Tradition: 3rd Saturday of Nov. TC Alum vs H20 Alum? may need to change the rules so we can stay insured and still make it to work the next Monday.

We got have something to bypass time.
Some believe that things that happened in that game will play into this game. Both teams have changed alot.

Evidently you didn’t watch the first game!
Honestly guys, the whole first game talk coming from both sides means nothing. The 2 teams we will see on the field come Friday night with be completely different from what we saw Week 3. In a year where teams could not have a fall camp, the W3 was essentially the final scrimmage in a normal year. I have not seen the first play of Watertown following that game but much like the Jackets, I know they have improved. Looking forward to a game in the dry with 2 great teams. I pray we make it to the game and through it healthy and we are all entertained by the great athletes these 2 schools will present.

BCB will be in attendance. All it takes is a post. Appreciate Jackets taking care of Jackets! You da Man!

lol she has been joking ever since last Friday, “so y’all’s last game is Friday at Watertown, right?” Poor thing is a Westmoreland Eagle so she doesn’t understand the words quarterfinal or semi-final
Dang.......cold-blooded....better hope she dont read the T bud. If she does, you will quickly understand the meaning cutoff.
Serious note. Did tickets already sell out? Dem sneakiy tiggers. this brother only need 1 for me myself and I.

I think it will be a very close game. I can see a 1 score game either way. I'd say a 21-17. TC has been there and are proven, but Watertown seems to have the better team at the moment. I think the game will come down to who makes the least mistakes and turnovers. If TC comes out and turns the ball over a couple times, Watertown could win by 14. Same goes the other way. I see another battle in the 3rd round. I'm just glad we get to witness good football like this in our area.
18 minutes ago, Grizzly478 said:I agree, I think that the biggest thing for us is to have a good start and gain some confidence early. Whether that means get an early turnover or have a big play or big drive early. I also think that we are built better to play from behind so if you guys get up by a score or 2 we are a big play away from being back in it because we are so explosive. I also think a dry field favors us tremendously. I expect a great, hard fought, game.
11 minutes ago, Grizzly478 said:I also think whoever adapts to the others 2nd half adjustments is key as well. For example, last year in the first half we dinked and dunked you to death, and in the second half you went man and dared us to beat you over top.
Love this type of chatter much better the some things on this thread. the nashing and bashing and name calling gets old. Football talk though always is great.
With that, I think you both are spot on. If you want My Take, well check out the Burma Road podcast when it's released later in the week. I'm hearing that both schools will have a little something to listen to.

I did not underestimate Bledsoe. Watching your highlights I knew TC was in for a fight. Plus with TC’s usual penalties and turnovers they will always have trouble against good teams. Holding, personal fouls and turnovers. If they had a good coach, they could make it to Cookeville this year.
If you dislike the dude that much, I’d stop supporting the team with your presence. Js

I think a lot of folks underestimated Bledsoe. Maybe now we gain a little respect. Great game. Just glad we got to play. Rankins by far is the heart and soul of your team.
Respect earned for sure. 11-1 is something to be proud of.

Refs aren’t from there. Can’t be home cooking. Heck of a game. BC has nothing to drop their heads about.
