South Pitts lineman strength is over looked. They manhandled Gv last night. That was easy to see. hamtons line matches up well with the pirates. No way IMO either team will win by more that 14. Sorry Hampton, but I think this is just SP's year. Thats a special team, and you can just feel it and see it when you watch them in person. You Hampton peeps will understand by the nights end. If the pirates play their best ball, half the teams in the state would have trouble. Robert Robinson is a good back, and a great linebacker. He has a nose for the ball. Jones is good too. If the Pirates play like they did against GV, they might leave Beene disappointed, nevertheless, ill be in SP friday.

i think SP made a pretty big statement last night. Anytime the mercy rule gets put on Region 4's #2, thats a great accomplishment. They should be the favorites now.

Congrats to the Tigers. They executed their gameplan, and outcoached us. Zone you should have no problem next week. Just play sound special teams, and dont make mistakes. Gv knows how to capitalize on mistakes. They contained the corners well, but we ran the inside very well. We moved the ball well, just coudnt score in the red zone. Robert should have a good game. RCR is right. No one is coming into this game thinking it will be a cakewalk. i assure you the team and coaching staff doesn't. Most of us have great respect for the GV program( yall have beaten us twice already). The only ones who probably think think we are gonna "destroy you" are idealistic and at best dont know what theyre talking about. If you know anything about football you know that just cause we beat watertown convincingly, and yall went to OT means nothing. Injuries, motivation, coaching, all these and more are factors that can change a game week to week. This isnt gonna be a cakewalk for either team. It will be a hard nosed game.

Hes the best all around athlete the school has. He is much better at baseball than football, and hes no slouch in football

I agree. It was a constant struggle to keep kids on the field. Many came out in spring, few would return. It is amazing that we have turned the program around, and it has a pretty good foundation for the future. Credit goes to the coaching staff after Pickett left, and the 05 team that paid their dues and worked hard to turn the team into what it is today. Now football is something to be proud of down here, not just something to pass the time till baseball. I guess the GV people just wouldnt understand where we come from on that.

Yeah, it seems some of the LV fans are getting big heads. I love the confidence. But I hear GV likes to serve some humble pie. Heard they got a whole freezer full of it. We could very well be sitting at the dinner table come late Friday. I hope the guys can overcome an emotional victory like the one Friday. Its hard to stay focused sometimes.

This SP team is a lot better than the team you are talking about. They have too many threats on offense. A quick defense. The best 1A team ive ever seen. And ive seen some pretty good ones. Sp is gonna win by at least 10 pts. If you stop Robinson, Jones gets it. And they can throw well too. FC will have their hands full but Sp should win by 10
