The Lady Indians don't have the fire power that the Cats have? Come on, Welch is the only player left in the district or tri-county that shared Tri-County player of the year last year, and with two juniors in Phillips and Sexton who have been starting ever since they were freshman, plus not to mention the Martin girl who has contributed tremendously. Don't forget that Chambers and the Lay girl can have their nights. I agree the Lady Cats have a couple of great players that have every ounce of my respect, but I believe the Lady Indians match up quite well.

I believe OZ will be the victim in this matchup, Oneida is playing on their home floor and beat OZ on their own home court. Oneida now knows that they can beat them, and tonite Oneida was the only team that we expected to win that actually played ball at a high level. Coalfield,OZ, and Greenback all didn't play well even though we knew that they were the favorite. Oneida will win the region over Coalfield.

I really don't see how you are giving Cosby a chance against Oneida on their home floor, this is the first time any of those girls have hosted a tournament up there and I believe they will be fired up for this tourney, Here's how I see it all: OZ over Grace Coalfield over Harriman Oneida over Cosby The Greenback/Oakdale is kinda a toss up but it doesn't really matter who wins this game. Oneida over OZ Coalfield over Oakdale/Greenback Oneida over Coalfield This is Oneida's floor and they have already beaten OZ so now it's in their minds that they can do it, and Coalfield I don't think can pull off another one against Oneida, they have a better chance of beating OZ. I don't see a repeat of beating Oneida like Coalfield did in the tourney's both times.

I do agree that OZ should be on the poll, even though I am a Coalfield fan myself, and I think Coalfield should be up there in the poll, they aren't playing ball like they could be, but Coalfield has been playing teams that aren't very good either and are winning these games, and it makes them look better, OZ is still playing AA teams and are losing a few of them and thats why they are not up there, but they will get respect once tournaments start, hopefully Coalfield can turn it up too and play ball during the tourney's also, but we shall see.....

BBALLTN, they may have beaten those two teams last year, but they lost 4players, come on, one of the ones gone now was yours, your not a true OZ fan are you? The District 4-a teams didn't lose much, the worse team that lost something was Wartburg, I don't see a point coming out to be what Milicent was, Coalfield and Oneida lost just 1, and they are gaining people also, Swint is back for Coalfield, she's a defensive machine, don't count them below OZ yet, lets see what happens come season

I believe Smith has came back to OZ's team, but I think that the coaching change and 4 starters leaving will be a huge adjustment for OZ, I really don't think they can hang with Oneida, and will definitely have major probs with Coalfield and Wartburg, district 4-a has been and still is one of the toughest districts in basketball, its like the SEC, put someone like USC in the mix and they will lose a game, but the fact is OZ thinks they are going to come in and win it all, OZ should of went to state but they didn't, Coalfield and Oneida went to state and only lost one person each, wake up and give those two teams the respect they deserve, Coalfield/Oneida/ and maybe Wartburg will be ahead of OZ, there was too much talent lost including a talented coach

While I would put Brandon Davis as my MVP, I still feel ashamed that not more Coalfield names are mentioned, what happened to the team last year? Don't get me wrong, they lost a few good men, but what about the one's who are still there? Some people need to step up and feel some shoes, they are quite large ones, but they need to at least fill part of the shoe, maybe even a toe! Coalfield has so much talent, they could repeat and go even farther if they would put there minds to it. Drake Liles has had a pretty productive year at LB, Johnny Hill has been hurt and not able to show his arm strength for the Off POY, but hopefully will be back IF they make the playoffs, I am a fan of the Jackets, and feel that the awards should be spread out among the county, but I am ashamed I don't see more names of Coalfield players in the run, I hope they take this as a sign and start playing the football they are capable of.

an old rivalry comes back to coalfield after a years absence, the cats got a new weapon who without davis, wouldn't be as much, still somewhat good, but not much, and coalfield who is very well balanced will be playing tough, i pick coalfield by 3 in an extremely close game,

I say dont count the Bearettes out yet also, they have the potentail to pull it off against Cleveland, if Central could hit there shots and have a great game from Scott or Jackson,they could do it, but it will be very tough

I dont have a definite answer for the top 8 but I do know that 2 of those teams will come from Dis 4, and when regionals roll around for Region 2,its going to be very close, Harriman,Oneida, or Wartburg Central will be there in the Boro, I think these 3 teams deserve to be in that 8 but unfortunately only 2 can go,but if I have to pcik a definite 2, its Wartburg and Oneida,I dont think Harriman has as much as they do.

I dont know about the boys,but on the girls side,Oakdale all the way for my pick! You can't stop the young and last but not least Ruppe! Oakdale girls play well together,and I think they got this one if they play hard and little Ruppe has a good game.

so,does this mean the kirkham girls quit? hate to hear this about the girls,just when they were pulling it all together winning some games this year, good luck to the rest of the team though.

Probably 2 of the best teams in the state,yes,state,are matching up against each other. Who will win this match? Any predictions?
