Indian, I assume you are from Sequatchie County based on your past posts. If that is the case from what I have studied and looking at the proposed 5 classification plan, you are better off as it is now. Yes you play signal in the current format, but they go to a 4a playoff bracket. In the proposed 5 class plan you play still play signal and they are in the same playoff grouping. Based on what I have studied you are better suited to keep things as they are. Just my humble opinion.

Pemberton is gone, tired about reading how everyone wants to bring up scheduling issues! Who are all of the players, who is the front runner? Who can come to Macon County and build a program? Who wants to come here and be a fabric of our community? Who can build it so every one wants to be a part of it?

Trey Perry and B.J. West, what is the coaching background these guys bring to the table? Do they have HC experience?

Have heard that a coach from West, TN has shown interest, don't know much about him. Who else is interested in this job? Better yet who are the powers at be realisticly interested in? It seems very quite on the boards for our school with a big decision such as this.

We need somone who has been a winner, some one who can connect with the people of Macon County,and some one who wants to stay for a long time. Thats what we need. Oh Yeah would be nice if they were from Macon County.

biggame, How did the Ham breakfast turn out this year? Who do you think the boosters are interested in? I sure hope we can attract some quality candidates.

Lee Atkins.....? Surely there our some other top candidates that are interested in our school and our football program....TC coach would be a no brainer.....but do you really think he is going to leave TC, where he has a chance to compete for a State Title every year? Don't know the White County guy....I sure hope we get more interest generated for our program than this...

Before anyone discusses who we can or who we can't beat, we should first find a head coach.

Man, Enough from everyone pepee measuring about schedule. Until you are both consistantly in the Semi's or Beyond it does not matter. With that being said I have seen no official inTroduction of Pemebrton in Brentwood, and No resignation announcement in Lafayette. Is this mess a done deal or is it speculation on everyones part? Be interesting to see how much money the Tigers are willing to pay for an actual winning season?

I Guess E.K. is a good choice, Campbell had earned a shot (But, obviously most think otherwise, What a shame). Who were some of the other choices?

Is Pemberton Gone? Has he turned in is Resignation? If so who is going to be on the short list?

From what I have been told Coach Barger will bring the team together and put the kids in a position just like Coach Jones did. Go get'em Coach. Lay the hammer to them.

Coach Norwood, Lets put things like they are. Coach Jones put you in the position that you are in. When none of the players wanted to believe in you, coach is the one that said they should. You are a great man and an even better coach. We all know why coaches last year went the way that it did. First off coach campell had his own agenda, that is why the stink got started, coach campell played up to the effect that the QB club presidents son should have started and played in front of Brent. When that did not happen the sh** hit the fan.. Coach Campell was in it together with the people that ran coach jones off. I know that you are close to the situation, but the one thing being overlooked is that we won under coach jones and the program did not win before or after he left. with that being said of all people I would think that you would be more for jones. Just to name a few players Despaux was signed and left UTM on his own accord. Medlock had many oppurtunities to play at the sub DI level but chose not too, weiss is playing at DIII school and won several rings, chris geter had the oppurtunity to go to UTC and chose not too. Austin could have gone where he wanted to until he screwed up his sr. year. Ryan merriman could have walked on at UTC. Robert "mookie" woods and Branden "odog" odem walked on at Marshal. Davenport would have never graduated if not for jones, plus at least 20 more. please do not get me started about what jones could have done, if all of us put as much passion in as he did all of the above mentioned would still be playing. by the way in case you are wondering I decided not to play my sr. year. so you never coached me.

I never stated that coach campell could not coach, all i said was that we neede a coach like our COACH. As far as the past you can believe what you want, we all now what really happened! As far as teaching young boys to be men I can list a least 25 boys that would have never even finished high school much less graduated if it had not been for coachs influence on them. He was a teacher,coach, father figure and mentor to alot of young men wether they played or not. And best of all win lose or draw everyday he would tell us that he "Loved US" and explain why. As a side note myself and several of the older players still commicate with coach, and his still motivates all of us. So talk whatever trash you want to belive about the past, but the truth is until we get another coach that can motivate and pull people together like coach did, Central will continue to loss, and it hurts me to say that. As coach used to say Big time players make big time plays in big time ball games, well its time for someone to step up!

does it matter if their is 32 or 2? all we need to do is find a coach to come in and continue what our coach was doing, instead of trying to do the exact oppisite like our last coach. We need some one who wants to be a part of our school for a long time to come. I bet if some one asked our old coach he could find some one that could come in and fix it.

regaurdless of who applies, if he is unable to connect with the current players and the other athletes in the school, as did our Coach, they will continue to struggle. we need someone who cares about the all of the kids, football or not. just like coach did. he would treat everybody like they were important. Just to give you an example, I was as bad of a player that ever played the game. I was lucky to play on special teams, But coach made me and all the players feel like we were the top stud on the field. he also made a group of young men believe that they could compete with anbody and everybody in the state, including maryville. As a side note my favorite quote he made while we were in school was prior to the Maryville playoff game. coach said we were going to "hit them in the mouth". For those of you that were there we hit them in the mouth all night long, Because we belived in coach and he belived in us when none else ever would. Please find us someone that would make coach proud!!

None of us left while Coach was their. He made sure that the talent was staying at Central.

Why in the world is Coach Campbell leaving??????? Can they get back to the level of 2003 any time soon??????

How in the world can Coach Campbell Leave Central after only 2 years. It seems that he did so much to get the job, that he would have at least stayed two more years so his first Freshman class could have played as seniors under him??? Two bad things hhave happened the way that they have at Central. Coach Jones had that program ready for great things.................

Although, he may not be the "Best Ever" becase that title goes to E.B. Red Etter. Coach Jones is the best Coach in Present Day at Chattanooga Central. Before he got here we were not worth a crap. We could not even beat Lookout Valley, while his first year was tough, he lead us to grounds that we had not even imagined before he got here. Since he was run off, they have been nowhere close to the same form. So it is with that reason that I nominate my coach, Coach Jones as the best COACH.

Thats easy the coach and coaches from Chatt. Central.........

Whats the problem this week? Is it desire, is it motovation, or is it the lack of respect for the coaches? I side with #3!!!!!
