I just close my eyes, scream and pray. Lots of praying!!! Honestly, coach Webster and his staff get the credit. They got these boys to believe in themselves and trust in each other. My son is a Sr and I can honestly say this is the best team I've seen as far as playing together as a team and believing in each other. I just really hate to see it end. i think I'll cry more than my son.

Wow, What a game!!! I am so PROUD of you PURPLE TIGERS!!!! It wasn't pretty, and I thought about FCSPRIDE at one point and how our offense did kinda look like a jr high team, but in the end ya'll stepped up and got the win. That had to have been the most nerve wracking game I have ever been to. The scoreboard wasn't working, so we had no idea how much time was left. Anyway WAY TO GO TIGERS!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I am happy to report that there were no injuries for WHS, just lots of boys banged up from last week. I don't think there were any for MHS either. Hats off to Monterey your boys played with a lot of heart and determination. It is a shame that ya'll wont make the playoffs. I think ya'll would have as good a shot as anyone. Best of luck in your bowl game. Show em what region 4 1a is made of. You guys should be proud of all of your guys, but #5 is somethin special. That's the big if???? Watertown got pretty banged up against G-ville, I hope they can bring that same intensity back this week. Only time will tell. GO BIG PURPLE!!!!!

I know all of Watertown is praying for a CC upset next week. Don't think it will happen, but it sure would be nice. Nothing personal though, once the playoffs start I will be for GV til the end unless Watertown ends up playin them again.

I agree Randy is an invaluable asset to our team! He never quits and never gives up. He reminds me of a bull, they knock the crap out of him and he just gets up shakin his head, mad as heck ready to go again. He will definately be missed next year.

I have no idea if it is true or not, but I think that was the whole teams plan, it just didn't quite work out.

First off congrats to G-ville for a great come back tonight. In the end Watertown just didn't have quite enough fuel in the tank. But I am VERY VERY PROUD of the way our purple tigers played. Great game, great atmosphere, just a shame that someone had to lose (esp since it was us) HaHA! BTW it was great to have Troodle #74 back out on the field. I think he really helped out the offense. Keep your heads up WHS we have a very big game next week against Monterey. You should have just driven on down, Watertown ain't that far. You'd have been proud of your boys.

I can't speak for anyone else in Watertown, but I have to agree with FCSPRIDE (gasp) I don't see how Watertown is gonna put up over 30 pts. I think i might faint from excitement. I'm not saying they won't win, but it will have to be a complete team effort and the defense to have to stop G-ville.

Just one more day til game day, just a little over 36 hours til kickoff. I can't wait. Hopefully this will be a fair and injury free game for both schools. To the WHS players- This is gonna be your night! You are in control of your own destiny. It is do or die time. None of the other region teams expect any more out of you than what you did last year, but as parents and fans we DO expect more. We expect ya'll to give it everything you have and win or lose NEVER GIVE UP!!! I know you guys all know what is at stake but think of how cool it would be if and this is a HUGE if you guys can find a way to win. You would be the first team to beat G-ville in over twenty years. To the WHS seniors- This may very well be the last time you ever play "behind the hedges". Make it count, give it all you've got and leave everything on the field. Remember ya'll are the leaders of this team. It is your job to play your best and make sure no one gives up. To the WHS fans and parents- It is gonna be cold and wet and yucky tom. night, Don't let that stop you from coming out. Bring anyone who will yell. You can't expect anyone else to think we will win. It hasn't happened in over 20 years. I personally think that if Watertown brings their A game it will be a great game. I really thought last year would be a good game and at half time W-town decided that they were ready to play basketball. I think that was b/c of internal problems that are not there this year. Good luck PURPLE TIGERS!!!! If you want the win you will have to play strong for 4 quarters and not give up if you get behind. Hope all ya'll from GV have a safe trip down and back and that there are no injuries for either team.

It may be a case of which Watertown team shows up. The flop that got embarrassed at FCS or the team that we know can fight hard and hang in there. I definately wouldn't underestimate G-ville or expect them to overlook Watertown. I think it will be a good game, but I thought that last year too and at halftime Watertown decided to give up. If they do that this year I am sure they will get the same results. Good luck Big Purple! BTW the hedges are growing back, just very slowly.

Good luck GV !!! The only advice this mom has is stay in Rickaway's face, don't be ugly, but stay in his face, he has very little self control and you can get extra yards from that. Maybe ya'll can make better use of them than Watertown did. Also spend one afternoon practicing with your sprinklers on. They have a funny way of coming on when you have the ball. Anyway hope GV gets the big win and that neither team has any injuries.

I don't think a lot of people in Watertown are bragging about how they are gonna be region champs. Maybe a few kids, but I think most everyone knows that there is still a whole lot of football to be played. But why is it completely OK for GV to talk about how they know they are gonna beat WHS, but it's not OK for WHS fans to say that we are gonna beat MJC or RBS. Both are just assumptions based on previous years. Anyway, WHS has the same plans as everyone else, win the rest of your games and see how it turns out. Isn't that every teams plan??? Exactly, if ya'll come ready to play I don't think you'll have a problem, but don't overlook them because they are much improved from the last few years. And they are very hungry for a win. Good luck TC.

I say GV shouldn't get too cocky or they may be sittin at home. Watertown hasn't had any luck against ya'll in years, but that doesn't mean Monterey and FCS won't. Any given Friday!
