The only homeruns hit in summer ball came from 2 freshmen. Give them a couple of years and they should be very competitive.

The youth programs should stop at 6th grade. If your in the 7th or 8th grade you should be at the middle school. It also helps if the youth program leaders actually support the high school instead of criticizing it. And yes that has been done before.

I know its getting old but had to ask around to find out didn't see nothing about it in the paper. Maybe I just overlooked it???? Lets see, played on Saturday afternoon. Paper was written Saturday midday. Paper comes out Saturday night for Sunday edition. Next paper will be Wednesday. I don't know how much more you could ask from the paper guy. Sounds to me like you have beef with the radio. No wait , they close from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. I guess your just SOL !!!!

They need to play Warren County!!! Their coach has lost over 200 and only won 2 this year.

Last year I think it was in May. Probably the same this year.

Heard Warren County was doing the same for next year. No sports during school.

The principle told the school board that he has not had one complaint about the coach. Nothing will done until people start calling the principle, AD, and school board members. The squeaking wheel always get the attention so keep the phone lines busy.

It's odd that a positive post about the coaches dies so quickly.

What was the playoff record the 10 years before Coach Madewell?????? 0-0 Record before Madewell 0-39. Sounds like he is making the program better each year. Yeah this year is down but better than 0-10 seasons of the past.

We all know that the firing of quality asst. coaches is done for one reason, to get Madewell to quit. I don't know Rackley personally but he seems to have done a good job at the middle school so lets give him a chance at the high school. My son played with the new middle school coach and I think he will do a good job. He loves football and his success will depend on who he gets to be asst. coaches.

I stayed gone a week and you all have let this turn into a basketball, middle school, election thread. What's up with this.

I applaud the youth coaches that have worked hard and supported coach Madewell. The others are the ones I was talking about. I saw what was going on the last couple of years that my son as there. Some parents worked hard in the booster club and supported the staff even tho they didn't agree all the time and then there was the parents that it didn't matter what the coaches tried to do, it was wrong. You all have seen them. I don't have a dog in the hunt anymore but the pioneer pride in me still wants them to do good. I will still buy the pioneer pride tickets this year and support this team. Everyone needs to support them regardless of who the coach is. I do think that coach Madewell has done a better job than the other head coaches.
