Former Coach

Did John Tucker run the wing T? I heard he was next on the list of great coaches. Someone posted on this thread that the Lewis County head coach was interested, does he run the wing T?

What principal is going to tell one of the winningest hs coaches in the nation, "No, Mr. Flatt, I just don't think you are the best coach for this job"? From what I have heard, Mr. Flatt applied for the job. SB, nor CM called him up to offer him the job. I say if he wants to coach here, let him. This may be the answer to the question between publics and privates. Some say that the only difference is the coaching and the administration. Who better to prove this, than Flatt himself? If he is trying to prove that point, he will have to stay for at least 2 or 3 years.

I wondered how long it would take for the naysayers to show up. What single A team in the state would pass up the opportunity to have the winngingest coach in the history of Tennessee high school football coach for their school? I know as well as everyone else that every school in region 6a would hire him if given the chance. This is what I know about the man- he wins football games. I wonder if he can get John Tucker to come as an assitant? Might as well get Nick Saban, too.

Glen McAdams, Finley, Jack Daniels--Three excellent coaches. I do not know about the rest.

How is this coach different from the two previous coaches. Did Barger replace Stegal?

I am finally back from vacation. I did learn while I was gone that it is true about Flatt. Sorry I did not believe any of you.

No offense but until I hear someone say they got it straight from the Director, I am skeptical.

My friend that knows CM's friend is out of town. If someone tells me that they heard it straight from CM, I will believe it. Blueboy, where does your info come from? What about yours 6aFan? Everyone "heard" this from someone but no one will say who.

I will be honest I did meet with Coach Flatt, he wants me to be his d coordinator. I told him I would think about it. I think if I agree to it he will take the job. I will let you know what I decide.
