    SINGLE WING?

I've never seen it ran anywhere before. I love to see game film on it though, if anybody has any.
  12. I am interested in playbooks/videos. I have a few to trade. Anybody have a split back veer playbook/video? I'll pay or trade.
  13. No one I've seen in 1-A can match the size and strength of the Landers. Maybe when they get to the higher rounds of the playoffs. Good Luck Landers! (except against Unaka)
  14. Someone should explain to that Principal how a middle school baseball team could help HIM. 8th grade boys get just a little rambunctious during the spring when they know they are "short-timers" at that school. If they played on a baseball team until early May then at least some of those boys could be controlled by the discipline of a good coach! and if that don't work...run for the school board!
  15. Personally, I love this game. I want kids to play it in t-ball, pee-wee, little league, babe ruth, middle school, AABC , high school , and anywhere else they can. East Tennessee's weather is tough. But last time I checked High School teams are playing in late Feb. early May here too. If school boards are going to cut middle school programs for money, and folks are going to keep their kids out of baseball leagues then don't wonder why football is now our national pastime. (it's the ugly truth). And as far as "unqualified" coaches go...Show me a little league or AABC league that doesn't have "unqualified"="somebody's daddy out to make junior a shortstop/pitching star" coaches in there and I will be impressed.
  16. Could you give some more info on the Tusculum showcase? Is it the 18th and 19th of October? If you have any more specs or contacts I would appreciate it.
  17. Hey Boom! Lay off Elizabethton!!! wink wink I thought your dog was out of this race anyway!!! [Edited by creekerfan on 8-8-02 3:21P] [Edited by creekerfan on 8-8-02 3:22P]
  18. Well, I hope the Rangers have some success, as a small school, it's easier to be competitive in basketball and baseball than football. Go get'em guys! By the way, who coaches their middle school football and baseball programs? [Edited by creekerfan on 8-7-02 9:33A]
  19. Are there any fall baseball plans for Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, Sullivan, Washington, & Greene County areas?
  20. Coaches, our legislature is nuts. I'm probably going to be looking for a job in another state after these morons in Nashville get through butchering our state's interests, so while I'll probably be in Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina, PLEASE don't vote for any one who now holds an office in the most inept legislature in our state's less than illustrious history.
  21. throw with a purpose gradually increasing distance, then long toss. always stretch. of course the best and easiest way is just for the gods of baseball to bless you with a gun. Gotta love baseball!! [Edited by creekerfan on 6/7/02 2:24P]
  22. "To the rabid partisans and humorless butchers of the written language"...that's hilarious! Can I use that sometime?
  23. I didn't know that about magnet schools, but if true then that is unfair as well. Any time you have a league or association, (tssaa), then all member schools should play by the same rules. As a public school coach, I coach the kids that live within my school's district. If magnets or privates do not have that same restriction then it could be an unfair advantage.
  24. I'm not saying that ALL private school kids are smarter or better athletes. That would be ridiculous. I don't think I implied that, if I did I'm sorry. I'm a teacher/coach in a public school and that notion would offend me greatly.
