Does anyone know where Alan North from JCS is going to play ball next year he is a great player I am from trenton and he is the best all around player i have seen in a LONGTIME

you havent seen many games then have you? he's good but he wont be signing with a D1 school.

dude north is good and would be one of the best around on the other side of the river. yea he averages 22 points a game but he also shoots 50 times a game. i will say that he prolly hustles more than anyone around and thats a good trait to have bc any college coach will take that. but to say hes the best around? c'mon now.

He is a good player, and more likely he'll go tNAIA. He is a good shooter and he likes to shoot a ALOT. so he should be averaging 20+ a game.

North's going to Union next year... yeah, tryue he shoots a lot, but still shoots a good percentage. haha, just look what he did against webb and doaks.

You could be right that he prob. wont be signing with a D1 school but neither will some other very good players who might could play at the D1 level. Some players just dont get the props, others do--that's the way ball bounces. Nothing--expect serious injury--can stop a person with a big heart from succeeding in life. I'm sure all TN players who have character and a champions heart will do well at the next level.

 

By the way when you can shoot 40% from behind the three pt. arc--you generally get a green light from most sane coaches. That could explain why North shoot so many 3s his last two yrs. His last three yrs. of H.S. North shot 40% from three pt. range and ended up with at least 1,900 pts. not bad for a 6' 2" Guard who got little recognition til the twilight of high school career. In his career high 47 pts. vs Harding Academy Nov. 30, 2004 he went 14 for 29 from the field including 8 for 19 from behind three pt. arc. Hardly 50 shoots---i realize you were EXAGGERATING !! LOL Want to see the box score? http://www.hardingacademymemphis.org/athle...an113004box.htm

Price from Harding had 40 pts in that game. "You miss 100% of shoots you dont take."
