I'm sorry..... but lexington is no better than 3rd place in their district. They need to face it, the fans need to face it, forget all the talk about mac and his daddy. They need to let their playing do their talking and quit with all this other garbage. People get tired of seeing post on here about how "bad" they are. Third place is the best they'll be, if they are even third place.

Just wondering what's up with Boyd this year? they usually have a competitive team. Is the talent just down, has it run out, or just alot of young players? anybody out there know anything about them?

yes, washed up. you are right. mccutchen and jones, they were good together and spanked lexington three times that year. lexington was blowing smoke, as ususal, and they got their tails kicked. And they were suppose to be so good, according to them. So you just never know about ole chester county. go eagles!

I thought this was a post about lexington vs. chester county????? leave bolivar out of it. start another post about bolivar somewhere else. Chester county is playing well and it may be a closer game than anyone thinks. Lexington always blows alot of smoke. They did a couple of years ago and, i believe, to lexington's surprise, chester beat lexington three times that year. So, you never know.

I am proud of chester county for getting off to a good start, but i would not agree that THIS team THIS year, is the best team they've had in years. It was just a couple of years ago, that they had a real good team with two very talented players. They competed well with bolivar and southside finishing up right behind them. Which both, Bolivar and South side ended up in the state tournament. So far, chester county has not played any real good teams yet, but it's great that they are off to a good start. Any time you can get those early wins, it helps boost team confidence.

He is a good player, and more likely he'll go tNAIA. He is a good shooter and he likes to shoot a ALOT. so he should be averaging 20+ a game.

big chief, i was just wondering? why do you think players from that area quit their college teams? Is it because they were "the man" in high school but when they got to college it was different? young guys these days have BIG egos...nathan aaron had a great freshman year at freed hardeman. his other two years were just so so. do you think egos have alot to do with the reason they quit during college? whatever happened to the meaning of TEAM ? and the ole saying, "quitters never win?" nathan was alot better than bailey, wasn't he?

I believe jcs will win this time, since they will have the homecourt advantage. I was surprised that adamsville won the first time.

exactly, bigchief. that's why i couldn't understand if the kid was good, i couldn't understand why he chose Lighthouse? I'm sure God wouldn't be upset if he chose another school that could give him a better opportunity for his future plans.

what does gomab think about israel? or ANY OF THE recruiting services? not that i worship gomab or anything, but he does watch alot of basketball and i don't believe i've seen his name on any recruiting list.. i have never heard of him and i have seen alot of high school basketball games and AAU teams play the last few years. you would think he would want to play for a school where he can be seen? or at least play for a school that plays good enough teams where someone would see him. I agree with sportster, WHY LIGHTHOUSE?

There's an easy explanation for this one..........not too hard to figure out.....it's called,.... TALENT....Southside and Chester county lost loads of talent to graduating seniors and/or guys transferring to other schools...

Lexington will win, no doubt. They should win. it would be embarrassing for them if they didn't. but lexington people need to get over themselves and simmer down. They ain't all that....their district won't be a challenge, but from there on........watch out, cause their region will be a different story.

North will probably go to some place like union or some NAIA school. Jackson Christian School and union work very closely together, so i just figure he'll go there if the Union coach is interested in him.

thanks sportster...yes, that's the school i was referring to...how are they doing as far as their record? has the player you are referring to been there a while or is this his first year? i had already heard that about the coaching staff being immature and inexperienced.

Does anyone know anything about how Lighthouse Christian is doing? i know they are just a small school and not even recognized by the TSSAA, but i was just interested in their record?

just wondering about the game on dec 12, when humbolt and chester county played? coacht has chester county winning. is that true? who were the leading scorers?

hobbes......are you sure north had 47 points against harding? i thought i had read in the paper that he had 25??? he is a good shooter, i just thought i had read 25 grom him and maybe 2 something from groves....i may be wrong. tho. i knew that harding had won, and i was surprised at that.
