UR right mm!  FCA could not beat Station Camp. But if they work more on their finishing, they could take LA.  It will be a close game and FCA will take #2 in District.  thumb

Are you one of those people who sees that a team is ranked and assumes they're increidible, but still doesn't really know what's going on? Because if you had any idea what's going on you would realize that Station Camp and Livingston Academy are fairly evenly matched, and if you can't beat one, then you can't beat the other.

Nope! Rankings don't mean that much. And St. Camp is a much better team than the one LA saw that day.

Soccerdad what game did you what? Both teams had many chances. The game was very even despite the fact that Livingston played a man down most of the game. The fact that St. Camp scored only one, being a man up says alot about Livingston. I disagree with you view of the game.

St. Camp is 10a/aa

Well, since we see it so differently, can we agree it was too early in the season to really know? This last weekend SC showed some talent. LC won't really be tested until the DB tourney.

You're definately right about Lenoir City being tested this weekend.  I wouldn't be suprised if they came off the dobyns bennett tournament with 2 or 3 losses.

I think it will be a long tournament for Gibbs. They are having a big "rebuilding" year.

  • 2 weeks later...

The Reason york scored against us is because of a corner kick and then the keeper jumped up to catch it and the kid came and hit him and it spun him around and he pushed him into the goal. and also the only reason station camp won against LA is because we had #10 wesley puckett got a red card because a station camp player threw a punch at him and puckett elbowed him in the face and he got a red card and then later station camp scored but other than that we would have crushed them

    • Who’s going to lead the pirates offense this year?
    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
