Lewis Co. 2 td's

 

Not much passing.

Buckley had two big 50 yd TD runs.

Smith (backup QB) had a 80 yd run.

Mac had Int on about the 5 yd line to

stop Lewis Co.'s first drive.

 

Both teams look good at times and not

so good other times....a pretty normal

first season scrimmage game.

Every time Lewis Co. plays a good west-TN football team the speed seems to be too much for them. They'll still finish 2nd in the region and host an opening round playoff game (against either CPA or DCA in my opinion) but this score does not look very promising as to how they'll matchup against Camden.

Lewis County had an all around bad day,basically we drove down the field two other times and turned the ball over before we could finish the drive. Also Lexington's Defensive line showed alot of power up front and manhandled the backfield. Defensively, at times LC looked brilliant,then after shutting them down 4 or 5 plays in a row, the speed of Lexington would break out into the open field for a total change in momentum. Lewis county figured out exactly what is needed to be worked on, Line and secoundary run support.
