  1. You better hope you don't have to play either of these two teams in the playoffs. Get off your high horse. Both teams can play with just about anyone willing to be on the field with them...... I'm just saying, you better find some pointers for your guys.
  2. well after you are done throwing your fit, and wipe your eyes. Maybe you should just let it go.... You can get mad all you want, but the fact is that all this talk will be thrown out the window come 7:00 Friday night. Enjoy the Crow
  3. I told your Mother I was just kidding....
  4. Yea, he is the Barney Fife, of this region's boards. You say anything that might come as offensive, and the Rebel comes out of him, he walks into your house and slaps your mother for making dumb comments or posts on his boards. He usually has a cigar in his mouth and a cane by his side... He is the first cousin to Popeye the Sailor man, he has the Biceps not the Forearms. LOL He was once called the most interesting man alive, he doesn't always drink beer, but when he does, he always drinks Dos Equis XXX You can usually find him sleeping on cornerback10's doorstep, just in case....
  5. Murray State, UT Martin, and UT Chattanooga have offered scholarships to players from Both teams from what I hear. MTSU visits these schools regularly by the way. So UNA, might be a fit, plus Juniors usually don't get offers until after the season ends.
  6. Well I just might be involved with football somewhere around the area. I just like reading posts on surrounding counties, and I like the Vikings. They had a rough way to go, now they have a shot. I like underdogs

  7. To bring some more common sense and relieve some Perry County Players on Cornerback10's wrath I will make my comments about the game. Also, I am sorry about the posts on the Collinwood thread, I hate being right all the time and it makes me sound like I bash some people. LOL Tyler Rice is a great QB, Austin Rice is a very good reciever. He is also a defensive specialist when he is healthy. To me, Teeftaller's return has to be a strong one for Wayne County to play a highly effective game on Offense. The Viking defense is very fast, not SEC fast like some would love to believe. But they are quick off the ball and have some linebackers that can pursue to the sideline. The Wildcats on Defense have been tough on Defense for the past 3 years, this year included. But what has been their Achilles heal? I think Perry County has a very effective, patient, and dangerous passing attack. Also, Tucker can run you over and fight for those first downs, even touchdowns, just as MTP. He is a difference maker, I think Tyler has to play Defense this week, and he will be running a lot. Which means opposite of him will be, Austin. That might be a problem when they play secondary in a highly potent, passing offense. Let's see who gets wore out first? The chain crew in this game, or the Wildcat Defense? Or even the Vikings offense. This will be a great game, no predictions. Just thoughts and opinions. Hey Region 6.... Hate it or Love it, THE UNDERDOG IS ON TOP, Go Vikings
  8. We're Not Going TO Take it... NO, we ain't gonna Take it, We're not going to take it Anymore! LOL The crap is all the stuff they have dealt with over the past years, losing to a team over and over, breeds hate. Have they ever Beaten them? It might be their year?!
  9. I don't know about that, You might be right. I have begun to lose interest on the Topic. Next week will be the deciding factor. Who plays better in big games, who can overcome some mistakes, and who has a better supporting cast will all be answered next week around 7:00 pm Good Luck to both teams tonight. Hopefully this game will be as good as expected, lets just hope the Vikings and Trojans come out injury free.
  10. Rick Rice coached at Perry County... what if the Rice boys went to Perry County?
  11. Has someone fell off the wagon and bumped their head? I'm sorry, call me an idiot, in your opinion or not snd I will slap my knowledge all over you... better yet I might do it this time. Who has more yards? Who has A better passing rating? Who has more Touchdowns? Who has more completions? As I say this, Superman himself walks into the limelight smiles, then says, "Here is my hero Jacob Tucker." Also, you kicked my groin area with the Lewis County comment, but there for a few years, I think we had the Wildcats in the litter boxes with their pants down. Those years will be here again soon, till then. Praise Tyler, I know he is a great QB, he will definitely show his stuff at the next level. Just remember, those days are coming back. Enjoy it while you can, till then, Worry about those Vikings!
  12. I stand Corrected, I thought for sure that Ryan Leaf was ahead of him that year.
  13. I like this, I like it a lot... By the way Perry County has only 1 loss to Parsons Riverside, They're no slouch. I think Collinwood got hosed in the Mt. Pleasant game, which leaves me to this very crucial point. Tradition plays a big role for these Trojans, they have a lot of history and many talented Athletes come through them parts. Now, their tradition is what most of those kids look at for Inspiration, the thought of letting down their town is unbearable. I remember losing to Hickman County for the first time in 18 years.... It was a rough two weeks, because we dropped the ball against Wayne County that very next week. Having that "Tradition" over your head every time you step on the field can either Help you be a better player, or Hurt you and your confidence. I think Collinwood might get down early, then what happens? Which side of the 8 ball will they land on? I know it took a cream puff or two in the next few weeks to get our heads back on straight, then we won the Region Championship against a much more talented Camden team. This game is a season maker, or a season failure.... for the Trojans.
  14. Ahem, Comprehension my son. I said he wasn't a better QB. Just stating facts. You are right though, both are good, and they would struggle without them.
  15. Micheal Vick #1 overall Pick in the Draft Peyton Manning #2, should have been #1 Micheal Vick: National Championship with Virgina Tech 2003 Peyton Manning: none Micheal Vick: Heisman Trophy Winner 2002 Peyton Manning: 2nd overall in voting in 1997 Who is to say that Vick wasn't a better College Athlete, or even QB? Now I understand that in the pro's you are a different player in a different atmosphere. I do think that Peyton was and is a Better QB, but Vick fit in well with the Hokies and took them farther than any other player for them. He was what they needed in that situation. Tee Martin also took the Volunteers to a National Championship in 1998, with a much weaker arm and less accuracy. Then again, if Vick doesn't act like a moron and kill hundreds of dogs where would he be right now? The Falcons are contenders and Vick is among the top 5 in a lot of areas of Passer Ratings. I think the comparison between the two cannot be made, Manning is a Super Bowl Champion, Great guy, and even a role model for America'a children. But they are Apples and Oranges. Just like Tyler and Jacob....... Sometimes being a better athlete is better for your team, to be mentioned in the same sentence of the two or even looked at the same way, is an honor. But that might have been a bad example Monkey, because I am not a big Manning fan, but I think he is a great QB.
  16. Really.... Tyler Rice isn't the next coming of Brett Favre..... Does that strike a nerve? Well, if it doesn't, this will.... Jacob Tucker is a better Quarterback than Tyler Rice. Now, with that Being said, this entire thread will now turn into yet another Tyler vs. Jacob thread. Just because someone cannot be better than your beloved Wildcats. Every team and town has good players it's just that most Wayne County fans become defensive if theirs isn't considered the very best. Not an opinion, just look at every Perry County thread, or Wayne County for that matter. Truth is, Tyler is a better pocket QB, Jacob is the better Football Player
  17. I am so proud of this forum and everyone posting, There is no negative comments towards players, fans, or even towns. This is what Coach T is supposed to be, the voicing of other opinions. To the game, Perry County is not stupid, looking to next week does mean a loss in this game. I am sure that there will be a rough and physical week of practice. Also, you better not count those chickens in Waynesboro, Cornersville played great against Mt. Pleasant at times, just made stupid mistakes and penalties. Not saying you will lose or anything, Cornerback 10 will be upset but I just think WC is too strong to let someone come in and beat them, but it could mean a rough road.....
  18. I think IKnoMore got punished by the Coach T Sheriff...... Butchie. HAHA I think that if you take Tucker and Mercer away you still have... A big Defensive and Offensive line.... 3 other receivers with at least 12 receptions Linebackers who have punished the ball carriers all year. Also, they have some leadership left on the field. Both teams are more than their stars on the field. Besides, a team is only as good as it's weakest link. I know it's a cliche` that most people hate. But in football it is usually always true, a bad center, guard, or even receiver can cause you some problems.
  19. Haha, I think I have a Case and point on this matter. Big D, you seem to have a good grasp on this region, but there are still too many doubters against the Vikings to let them Believe that they are the favorites. People around this area don't want to believe that Perry County should be winning each and every week. Thus, the underdog role. It's almost like the team is overachieving to some fans.
  20. Really, it seems pretty even, or even a little bit of a upside to the Trojans here on Coach T. Both these teams have been playing an underdog role all year. Even playing the part of spoiler to some teams. This game will be exciting, close, and vital to the Region Championship. I would just hate to miss this game if I were a Fan of High School Football. Tucker plays his best games when the team is on his shoulders, The Dray Mercer helped pull the Vikings out of the upset last week, and even won the game soundly in the second half. Adversity seems to be these two's best friend. I like the upset to go to the Vikings fellow CoachT'ers
  21. More Speed, Better Coaches, and Home Field advantage...... Man, the Vikings shouldn't even get off the bus. I think a lot of teams are shocked to see the amount of improvement at Perry County in the last 3 years. This causes doubt and a little bit of down talk of some coaches. I think their going to pull it out of the hat this week. Also...... Something to ponder, if Perry County beat Mt.Pleasant with less coaching, and less speed than Collinwood. What gave them that win, and a sound win at that. Mt. Pleasant was VERY talented to me, and they had strength and size. I heard Collinwood was hosed against MTP, but the game was at Collinwood..... What happend?
  22. Leave them boys alone, they don't know no better....... Then again, They haven't contributed anything to the topic...But, then again, neither has a few other posters who couldn't express or argue their opinions to a door handle let alone an intellectual person. My Boy is the Best Player ever, he is my son and a good kid, he even clean his room every week..... While Jacob Tucker: Runs the ball, passes the ball, catches the ball, and tackles everyone on the field. He would fill up the Gatorade coolers but he has to warm up I am just kidding, he is very good player
  23. I think you read very well, but your comprehension needs some work......
