looks like they paid the refs the why there coach was talking to the refs at the half

notre dame is very dirty team they were using elbows and high kicks all game long and refs did nothing about it

In an earlier post you just said, "White House played good enough for this to be a one or two goal game."

How do we get from that report (which sounded fair and largely unbiased) to one accusing refs of anti-home team bias (and dishonesty--i.e. being "paid" by ND) and Notre Dame of playing dirty? One way or the other the home team was shut out and one way or the other the Lady Irish scored at least 1 "legitimate" goal according to your own evaluation.

It sounds like the stronger team won, so why go after the refs and why malign the visitors? Do you think the grief refs get has anything to do with Tennessee's shortage of top quality officials? I suspect it does---not alone---but it doesn't help.

White House and Notre Dame are both good teams. Yesterday, Notre Dame was clearly better. They both have had great seasons---isn't that enough?

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
