Who do u guys think will win this one. I think this one will be a tough one for the bulldogs. It will be there toughest yet. Steven Gunter will show Jeremy shannon up and will shatter his heart that he supposedly has. Steven Gunter is the best point guard in the county. He scores alot of points and still has alot of assists. He is unselfish unlike the shannon boy. I think this will be a hard fought match until shannon missed his 1 and 1 to win the game cuz u know he will have the ball. I pick coalfield in this one 79 to 78.

OK NOW. Gunter is a ball hog. I was told that tonight by several coalfield people. Shannon will shut him down because Jeremy is awsome in the clutch. Coalfield does not have the fire power to hang with Wartburg. This one might be close at the half but come 4th quarter you will be seeing them Petros Boys.

Wartburg-74

Coalfield-51

Zoolander You should take a # of ppl who are jealous of Jeremy. BTW when Coalfield focus on Jeremy, Melton will light you up. 46-6 here we come baby. 46-6. 46-6. 46-6 46-6. 46-6. 46-6. 46-6. We will see what happens tomorrow night but Wartburg has too much talent. BTW I've played Steven before yea he is good but ive also played melton and Dj and they are tuffer then Steven was.

Well I don't know about the Gunter as of yet. However, I have watched Shannon play this year, and i know he happens to hold on to the ball alot more than he should. I guess I will see tonight if Gunter does the same. Shannon needs to spread the ball more when he has the chances and don't just dump it off at the last chance he has.

Shannon is not the ballhog everyone thinks he is. So he attacks the basket, big deal, that's his style and he's good at it. Gunter doesn't compare in any way. It doesn't matter how many points you have, how many assists you dish off, and how many boards you get; it only matters about wins and losses. Last time I checked Wartburg has 3 wins to 0 losses, whereas, Coalfield has 0 wins to 3 losses. Who is the better team now.

We will see how they fare tonight.

Wartburg--76

Coalfield--42

Go 'Dawgs!

Iceburg that is very true. The only thing personal greatness brings is attention. And attention isnt good when your losing. Shannon is a winner he has proven that. If Gunter and his team could pull off this upset it would be HUGE FOR COALFIELD, but Shannon has his head on straight along with his outstanding teammates. Melton is still due a big game tonight could be the night with him matching up with Biggs. all i know is my final predicition before i leave to go out there is much different than my first.

#9 Wartburg- 83

Coalfield-48

I know this seems out there but i have a feeling Wartburg has a chip on their shoulder because they still have no respect.

I didnt go to the game or anything so can someone tell me what all happened? High scoring ball game and who did good? I know Gunter and Shannon both have times when they should pass the ball. From hearing stuff from people at Coalfield, Coalfield has JJ and Gunter that does all the shoting. Shannon is still overrated like I said anyone that plays b-ball 365~ should be lot better then that, He's little too cocky for his own good.

    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
