MPTigerT
Mt.Pleasant lost 2 to S'town just as they did to C'wood. S'town doesn't have any district loses. The games Monday and Tuesday could be for the district. Does anyone know where the games are played on those days?

MPTigerT
Its gonna be a showdown. Who is pitching for the Eagles this season? Can't give you any names but one of them is a lefty. MP had some baserunners but just like all year we didn't get timely hitting. Of course that could be due to the pitching. When you have bases loaded and no outs you have to put the ball in play and in the outfield. We haven't been able to do that. Our pitching has taken a beating this year also, physically. Our ace has yet to pitch in a game and one of our top 3 or 4 has been out the last couple of games with back problems. Hopefully we will have everyone back for the district tournament. cottereagle111
Can't see where Summertown will have any troubles with C'wood this year. We won at home last year and got beat on a fluke at C'wood the same week. The Eagles are a balance team, up and down, where Collinwood has to rely on one or two players to get the job done. The big difference in the games today and tomorrow is going to be how each side performs as a team.

cutie313
It was a tough game. Summertown pulled it off 6-3. Each team hit a home run. It was tied 3-3 until the 6th.
WCHS_Wildcats_#2
Summertown improves their District record to 9-0 after their 11-7 win over Collinwood tonight...Collinwood's District record is at 6-2 now(2nd in District 12)...clearly these two teams are tops in the District but dont overlook Wayne Co. or Mt. Pleasant both teams have greatly improved...Cant wait till Wayne Co. plays Collinwood and Summertown..Look for a couple upsets!!

Pleasant has played all three teams this year and anyone can win on any given day but I don't think WC will beat either S'town or C'wood unless they have greatly improved. I hope you have. Mt. Pleasant won't even compete with either team unless they get their heads on better. You can't loaf around, practice lazily and careless and expect to get any better. Blowing out Hampshire and Santa Fe doesn't make you superstars. If you practiced football like you do baseball MP would be going 4 and 6 every year. If you guys don't believe me wait until the district playoffs and you will be 2 and out. You better start listening to your coach and working on getting better. Work Hard! Play Harder!!
