  1. Soo… how many transfers played for Alcoa this year? lol that’s a wonderful story, but you avoided the overall point. Being one of the biggest 3A schools while at the same time having SEVERAL transfers each year has just as much to do with the success as the summer workouts that apparently Alcoa invented according to you. hawkdad approves.
  2. Getting transfers from all over the state and sometimes different states, particularly the D1 caliber ones is the biggest difference lol. Not like Alcoa works THAT much harder than every other 3A team or that their coaches invented the wheel.
  3. KCS locked their coaches stipends like 30 years ago. They are one of the worst school systems in Tennessee to coach for.
  4. QB coach came from Hardin Valley.
  5. Maybe so, idk the ins and outs of the interviews. But just saying there is absolutely nothing that limits head coaches to strictly being in the building. as it shouldn’t. That’s an insane rule.
  6. There’s no such policy that prohibits schools from hiring Non faculty. That’s absolutely false. Bearden, Central, Carter all have non faculty head coaches. Troy definitely applied and interviewed.
  7. This lines up with what i heard. They didn’t hire a certain coach because they wanted a teacher in the building.
  8. I heard that Troy Flemming applied and part of his pitch was bringing several VFLs and titans players on his staff. That would be intriguing at least
  9. Todd Helton Official. https://x.com/5starpreps/status/1757139869455835359?s=46
  10. Who gets announced first Todd Helton at Carter or Stanton Stevens at Austin East? Looks like they play again this coming up year at Carter.
  11. Do you think it will be Stanton as well?
  12. Take off the letterman’s jacket Pal. 1999 was a long time ago
