Knox West at Knox Catholic

they looked pretty bad and west looked pretty good.

I don't think Catholic looked so much "bad," as sluggish and tired for the first half and part of the second. West has a very good team with some extremely quick skill players in the mid and up front.

Even though Catholic looked a step slow for most of the game, Catholic's defense, especially sweeper Joel Adams, kept West shooting at long distance and the Irish got their 12th shutout in 16 matches.

For the last 13-15 minutes of the match, I thought Catholic had the better of it. It looked like they finally woke up and finished strong after the first goal. I think they'll need a couple more days to get their legs back from last week's marathon, but they should be ready for the post season soon. Their match against Oliver Springs on Thursday should decide the order of the top two seeds in the district tournament.
