  1. I hate to break it to you, but you've already been knocked off - by a decent Kingston team.
  2. Notre Dame's not in Region 2. They're in region 3.
  3. There hasn't been a game on the AM yet because it starts next week???????????????????????????????????????? Like I said already?????????????????????????????
  4. 1. Catholic/Fulton 2. Catholic/Fulton 3. Austin East 4. Kingston
  5. I give up. This is the fourth time I've posted it. THERE IS A NON-CATHOLIC GAME OF THE WEEK ON THE SPORTS ANIMAL'S AM STATION. Now shut up.

  7. Yeah, um, read my post... THEN make your own post.
  8. Catholic 30 (3-0, 1-0), A-E (0-3, 0-2) 19 A-E returned the opening kick-off to about the 30, and punched it in to go up 7-0. Catholic answered with 10 points, making it 10-7 at the half. After halftime, Catholic put up another 13 (2 TDs, 1/2 on PATs), to make their lead 23-7. A-E came back with a TD, and went for 2 to try and make it a 2 point game, but didn't convert. 23-13. Catholic responded with a touchdown, making it 30-13. Late in the fourth quarter, A-E drove the ball in, using a hurry-up offense, to make it 30-19. For some reason I don't understand (Can someone explain this to me?) A-E went for two, instead of kicking the PAT. Once again they didn't convert. A-E kicked the ball deep instead of doing an onside kick like I thought they would do. Catholic ran the clock out.
  9. Starting next week, the AM station (990) will be having a non-catholic game of the week, while the FM stations (99.1, 99.3) will continue to exclusively broadcast catholic games (except next week, when catholic has a bye). The schedule is on http://www.sportsanimal99.com/
  10. I'd have to give it to Fulton. The 2-3A opponents (Austin-East, Livingston, KCHS, Kingston, Scott) + Tyner + Alcoa They do have Carter though (great RECORD last year, but highly overrated) and Boyd-Buchanan (don't know anything about them, but their record from last year doesn't make them look too good).
  11. Details for those of us who didn't see the game?
  12. Anyone have a result?
  13. Since you like numbers so much, perhaps you would like to compare the winning percentages of open- and close-zoned schools in each of the sports?
  14. It's on CSS in Knoxville. Chattanooga has some crappy game on instead (Baylor-East Ridge)
  15. Bearden Farragut West those are just the ones in my area. There are many, many more.
  16. That's literally the worst analogy ever. Are you retarded or something? Open-zoned school allow anyone in. All you have to do is apply. Normal public schools require you to provide a reason for going to a school, other than the one your are zoned for, such as divorce (one of your parentals lives in a different zone) or other such circumstances. It is not by any means common for this to occur. Comprehend yet? Now shoo, take your idiocy elsewhere. dsl...Laz is far from retarded. Please tone it down and just discuss your opinion. Calling people names does not enhance your thoughts. VG
  17. Allowing a few students from out-of-zone into a public school does NOT make it open-zoned. Come back when you have a clue.
  18. I'm guessing no online radio broadcast? That surprises me.
  19. You completely avoided the question. Way to go!
  20. Yes, but it costs less than for a non-Catholic. I'm not sure whether or not athletes are allowed to pay to reduced fee. I've heard conflicting reports.
  21. Only if the open-zones leave too. After all, they have the same advantages the privates do!
  22. Could someone explain to my why the open-zone school do not have to deal with the same 1.8 multiplier the DI privates do? Both open-zoned and private schools can recruit (even if they shouldn't, it COULD happen) and can accept students from just about anywhere. Additionally, neither types of schools can provide scholarships or financial aid to their players (remember, we're talking about DI, not DII). If anything, open-zone schools have an advantage over DI privates, since their students do not have to pay tuition! So can someone explain to me why they aren't assessed the same penalty?
  23. Reminds me of the Scott County - Catholic BOYS game.
