Thanks for the prediction on catholic Patsfan. You should be a book maker. Wow.

 

Yes, Catholic did go 5-0 last year and lost in the first round of the state to Goodpasture which AC then whipped in 3 before going to its 4th state finals in the last 7 years.

 

Way to go!!!

 

AC was down last year starting 7 first time players including 3 freshmen who had never played. Catholic was loaded with Karen Wolfe, probably the best all around player in Knoxville, a great setter and a powerful middle who,

 

wait for it....

 

ALL ARE BACK THIS YEAR.

 

Catholic should repeat as Region champs, and based on the talent could be the state champs. They have a great group of girls. AC lost both of their MBs to Webb because of a conflict with the basketball coach, and two 3 year starters including the sschools all-time kill leader to graduation.

 

The big surprise will be if Catholic doesn't win the state.

 

Patsfan you win the golden cheddy for the most obvious prediction this year. I reviewed some of your other posts. Here is a sample.

Knoxville Catholic WILL have a great year. They are a great group of girls and for the most part a good group of fans.

 

There is no way that they won't be back at state, and I don't know if there is a A/AA that can beat them.
