Chris Jordan from Brentwood Academy will be one to watch. Transfered from Norcross High School in GA. He averaged over 7 yards a carry as a sophomore. He is big and fast.

Jordan's already participated in a couple of Nike/SPARQ camps the past couple of years.

 

At Clemson's Nike Camp this May, he checked in at 6-foot-2, 201 pounds, ran a 4.77 in the forty, 4.5 in the shuttle run, and had a 34.7 inch vertical leap. Pretty good numbers for a strong running back that's an 08 kid. Can't wait to see him play.

 

Tyler Massey was a pretty good sophomore at MUS last year...I take it that he's gone with his dad to Baylor right?

Yes Tyler Massey is the starting QB at Baylor. He brings a lot of skills at both passing and running. Had a scrimmage today in Cleveland and he looked pretty good running the offense!

We must not forget about Mccallie's jr running back. I can not remember his name but last year he was in the backfield with conney and buniak. I saw his numbers on McCallie's web page does anyone know about him.

I think you are referring to Reggie Poindexter. A little undersized but cat quick, great change of direction, and improved his already fast 40 during track season.

McCallie has another junior rb/receiver that Tennessee really liked during the 7 on 7 camp. Johnny Newman is a big punishing runner.

I thought Newman was listed as the backup QB? He is listed by McCallie as being 6'4 and they will use him as a running back, if they do punishing isn't the word for whats going to happen.
