I've been out of the loop for a while...I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about Portland this year. Other than things that happened in the offseason. Anything about how they stack up against the teams in the region and state.

Not to good i dont believe they were out manned against against hendersonville a couple of days ago so i dont think they got much shot.

What did Portland do against Hendersonville???? I know that the Commandos beat White House tonight 28-0. WH is a team that hung right in there with one of the midstate's top 3A schools in Lipscomb and they crushed one of the midstate's better 2A school's in Smith Co.

 

Wait until next Friday's jamboree. Portland plays Gallatin & White House plays Beech. Those four Sumner Co. teams will get a much better feel for where they are heading into the regular season after next week

Portland got beat 14-0 by Hendersonville in an hour long scrimmage.
