It's hard for Pearl-Cohn, White House, or Greenbrier to be anymore improved over last year since they were all playoff teams that won in the postseason last year.

 

Macon Co. was a playoff team as well last year so if they get to the playoffs this year to be considered "improved" they'll have to make some noise once they get to the postseason this year. That is if they get to the playoffs this year

 

DeKalb Co. will be improved over last year but as the old saying goes "Rome wasn't built in a day". That bunch is still another year away from contending for the playoffs in this tough region.

 

That leaves Sycamore & Station Camp. Sycamore was a 4-6 team that was considered by many to be a bit of a disappointment in '05. Injury issues contributed to their downfall in the last month of the year last season. Station Camp was a 1-9 team last year that was "young". Both of these teams are off to good starts this year at 1-0 on the season. I look for them both to likely be 2-0 at the end of this week's games.

 

Sycamore & Station Camp are both looking to be playoff teams in this tough region this season. They open their region schedules against one another in week two at Sycamore. I'll go ahead and predict right now that the winner of that game will be the team that is considered "the most improved" from Region 4-3A.

What I saw out of Macon Co they are a improved team when it comes to the passing game...But the running game isn't that hot...To me they're about the same caliber team as last year...

i think that sycamore is the most improved just because their offense has stepped up and finally decided to score, even though they don't score 40 pts a game there defense stops people from scoring so they really don't have to score much

I believe that sycamore could be the sleeper this year.Alot of returning starters and experience.I look for them to make the Playoffs

Don't forget Macon. They have 23 seniors, and all of there starters are back except for Dallas, and the late Hudson.
