Going into the last few weeks of the season, there are still a number of possibilities for how the region standings will finish:

 

Right now --

1. Tyner, 3-0

2. Marion Co. 1-1

3. Boyd-Buchanan 1-1

4. Bledsoe Co. 1-2

5. Sequatchie Co. 0-2

 

Here's what each team needs: (Correct me if I've missed something.)

 

Tyner - Win over Boyd = 1st Place. Can do no worse than second.

 

Marion Co. - Wins over Bledsoe & Sequatchie, or Win 1 of those + Boyd Loss = 2nd place. Cannot win region in two-way tie due to head to head loss v. Tyner

 

Boyd Buchanan - Still has an outside shot to win the region with wins over Sequatchie & Tyner + a Marion Co. loss to either BC or SC. Cannot win Region in a three-way tie. Cannot finish second if in two-way tie with Marion. Secures third place with win over SC or Tyner with MC win over BC or SC

 

Bledsoe Co. - Needs a win over Marion Co. OR a Sequatchie loss to BB or MC to secure playoff spot. Could possibly still finish as high as 2nd with win over MC + MC loss to SC + BB loss to SC or Tyner -- Depending on tiebreakers.

 

Sequatchie Co. - Can still claim a playoff spot with wins over BB & MC OR win over MC + MC loss to Bledsoe OR could claim a spot in a three-way tie with win over BB + BB loss to Tyner + Bledoe loss to MC.
