TJ Martin .. The kid can light it up from outside, drive and finish. As good as he is on offense, he is better on defense. A true lock down defender who always give it his all. Great kid.

I've only seen a handful of the state's best, but I've seen Wiggins and Omar Wattad more than once. I'll also get a chance to see them square off on Jan. 27. At first glance, I thought Wattad was better, but after seeing Wiggins a few more times, I realize that his stats aren't a true measure of his talent.

Although 25ppg is quite impressive, he sacrifices at least 8-12 points per game by dishing off on double teams. As a primary ballhandler, his drives from the wing often pulls double teams and leaves one of the others wide open for a lay-up.

I would guess that he gives up at least 5 or 6 shots a game that are within 5-10 feet of the goal. It was a couple of these back-to-bak layups that spurred Greeneville to pull away from Alcoa just a few nights ago.

TJ Martin lit it up tonight, dropping 42 .. This kid is making a name for himself.

Didn't he have like 8 blocked shots with 16 rebounds or something. At least that is one thing we can agree on that TJ Martin is amazing.

    • One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.
    • They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.
    • And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull
    • Wish it was made clear before a coach gets let go or not retained instead of being sold as the reason he was in trouble. I was told the kids who got grades changed, 97% or better were non athletes but the coach is taking all the heat so the schools can pretend it wasn’t their job to know. heck, what do you think could happen when you hire husband and wife as head principal and head guidance….   that’s not being said though…
    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe.  Last time I came up there to watch my pirates one of those guys in that pickup trucks flattened the tires on the lawnmower.  This is payback.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
