this is a little off the subject but have you ever noticed that at summertown the visiting team always gets the end that nobody can hit on in the second half....you know the end where the fans are right there in your face and i know from experience its a lot easier to hit on the end with nothing but the wall behind it........even summertown cant hit on the fan end.....it has to do with the depth perception plus not many high school gyms have fans right behind the backboard........i always wondered where their massive homecourt advantage comes from.....then it hit me......i mean their fans dont really get that excited and there isnt anything unusual about the playing surface......its all about the drastic change when the teams switch ends
