West Tennessee Tennis 2007

Once again it looks like west Tennessee will have some powerhouse teams.

 

Memphis University School will have most of their players from last year so look for them to dominate.

 

University School of Jackson is returning 4 of the top 6 and they also dont have Will Magee anymore so look for some class act tennis coming from those boys. Last year they didnt have any problems winning state and this year probably wont be much different!

well the camden team is looking tight this year, with two seniors on the boys team who compliment each other really well when playing together. the girls are lacking having only three girls all together none of them being seniors.

MUS will be good, as will the Univ School of Jackson. Losing Willie Magee will be good for the team I think

USJ is a classy team. Will Magee was kind of a thorn in their side, especially with the negative media of getting defaulted in the State Championship but there is no reason to talk about him or that anymore, that season is over.

 

How many people did siegel lose?

I dont know if Siegel and USJ are playing this year I'd like to see it though. I think it'd be a good matchup. The only player Siegel lost was Braeden Verble who played at 5 last year. I thought that I remembered Coach Wood telling us last year that we would be playing siegel again but I guess not. I still havent seen our schedule yet so who knows.

Things are going well over here, im ready to be home though. Ill be back April 4th.
