Tin-Man
i was just wondering, which section of TN has the best soccer overall, they all have their good teams in the different divisions, but i am looking for an overall. i'd say the best team comes from the west, that being Christian Brothers were is BGA from? and how are they going to do this year? they are great as well and actually beat Christian Brothers but i think CB is still better (i dont know how that makes sense) middle TN has their teams but i say they're last haha The section with the most quality teams i think comes from East, Maryville is great, Sullivan South and Morristown are becoming good, and of course you have 2 state champs, Bearden and CAK, with Catholic being a great team (how are they this year?) then you have Farragut, and Mcminn County was really good when i played (dont know any more) i think we need to have a topic of what EVERY team looks like this year so far, because i have a lot of catching up to do. so if anybody knows enough about different teams to start the thread please do so. Heelsfan247
Farragut and Bearden will be strong as usual this year. Farragut has an experienced roster with talent everywhere, also Bearden is a very talented and physical team. Maryville is a quick team that can make some plays. Catholic (even though I haven't seen them play) will also make a run in a/aa. I'd say that overall the east by far has the advantage in number of teams that are playing for the title at the end of the year. Christian Brothers is the obvious team in the west. FRA, Brentwood, and Hendersonville from middle tn will be good I'm sure.
SoccerDUDE99
BGA is from the middle. I would say the middle overall. Hendersonvill, Brentwood, BGA, and Father Ryan.....Christian Brothers is the only team from the west and the east in DII middle didnt even make it past the first round at state last year
Nashville Panther
Middle- but then again Middle tenn is the most heavily populated section of Tennessee. Thus, there are going to be more great teams from this area. However, Knoxville area has more than represented in the past few years. Tin-Man
QUOTE(SoccerDUDE99 @ Mar 3 2007 - 12:55 AM) 826397875[/snapback]BGA is from the middle. I would say the middle overall. Hendersonvill, Brentwood, BGA, and Father Ryan.....Christian Brothers is the only team from the west and the east in DII middle didnt even make it past the first round at state last year yes, however, CAK are 4 year state champs Bearden just won it, before that it was Brentwood, then before that Farragut won it twice, and then i believe it was Houston, and then before that Bearden won it. so the east has Two out of the three divisions on their side, might i add that some of the state games were between two east teams. so the battle is for second between Middle and West putting BGA, Brentwood, Hendersonville, Father Ryan versus Christian Brothers, Gtown Houston, and ....? OSUSoccer
i think that the knoxville area has the best overall with the amount of good teams, but middle has the better, fewer teams. if that made sense...
pdbmit
East. West Knoxville feeds Farragut, Bearden, CAK, three programs that have had great success.
SoccerDUDE99
No disrespect to CAK but that division they play in is pretty weak on the average. I play for BGA and we beat CPA like 6-0 and were astounded to see them last year at state in the semi-finals. I have never had a chance to play CAK so i dont really know. Just my opinion
