I am interested to see how both Marshall Co. & Giles Co. fare against some of these bigger schools.

 

well marshall didnt do to well i dont think. we(giles)didnt get a chance to play them....but we did last longer than them lol so.... we did beat former giles county coach tim johnson in the first round of the tourny lol and then lost to hillsboro(the winners of the tournament and two other tournys also) in the next round...we had a pretty good day overall

Arrent was rusty because he was in FCA camp all week drove 8 hrs home Friday night. After the rust was knocked off he completly dismanted Laverne in the finals. The 2nd team QB took snaps after Arrent put the Burro's up by 5 scores.

Marshall County had its ups and downs. They tied Lincoln county in the first game 14-14, then beat siegel inthe second 28-2, third game was Lavergne and thry beat them 22-20, there fourth game was Brentwood they lost 21-13 when Brentwood scored with less than 2 minutes to play, the fifth game was BGA which they lost 17-16 as Thomas went for two and the win with less than 1 minute remaining he also did that with a freshman QB what was he thinking, then came Antioch and they lost 26-16 Antioch showed some talented players and just got loose on a couple of vertical routes. Giles County was very similar with the exception they won a tournament game. Both teams should be very competitive in there league but DL is still the team to beat.
