TN State Meet: 42 Dyestat Elite marks

I thought this was interesting...when comparing the results of our state meet to everyone else in the country, 42 performances qualified as "elite" performances on the www.dyestat.com website. The list of marks can be found here:

This is not to say that Dye's list is the authoritative list on elite performances (even though it is clearly the best high school track website in the nation and the only list of its kind)...but it points out a few things of note. The 4x2, 4x4 and the 300IH appear to be pretty deep for the boys, and the girls 4x2 and 4x4 did fairly well. But really the boys 4x2...5 elite marks? Granted Stratford was great, is TN that good in that event or is everyone else just that bad? Or better yet, how many states don't even run a 4x2? I'm just curious now.

Some of those 42 marks set pretty high in the nation so far...way to go there, Tennessee.
