I know Cully and Moore Co are loaded again. Richand is poised to challenge as well.

 

Who else -- Collinwood should be real strong - Mt Pleasant still has Marco - Wayne Co young and talented.

agreed....last year people said collinwood was gonna give cully a run and i believed it because i hadnt seen them play...but we blew them out twice....marco is good but a one man show does nothing....cully and moore co. are both goin to state

summertown will def be a contender in this region. i also dont believe culleoka and moore county are locked in for state either. demario will need help. moore county is a very solid team but def can be beaten by many teams in this region. when summertown shoots well the could beat any team in the region. collinwood needs to use there big man more but still wont have the talent to compete with moore county, summertown, or culleoka, it will be between thes three teams

Summertown - Speed and Shooting will make them a contender, Plus the run and gun offense is always fun to watch.

Watch out for Waynesboro in the next several years, The rice brothers are definitally good athletes, and they have good size coming up from Jr. high.

haha i love how ppl think culleoka is a one man show...have you ever seen culleoka play in person?

I saw where Collinwood, Richland and Summertown all played in the Cornersville play day. Did anyone see them play or hear how they looked ?

yes i have seen culleoka play many times two years ago demario had much more help with a good post and last year he had some shooters to work with but this year who does he have the twins? he is very talented but so is this region not saying the wont make state but someone on that team is gonna have to step up he wont do it alone

I personally think that summertown and culleoka should be the teams to beat between the two districts and will possibly battle for the region championship with c-wood and moore co. in the mix. But on the other hand two teams to watch for in the future is wayne co. and perry co. these two powerhouses have not done what they normally do but wayne co. has great youth comin up. and perry co. has some outstanding eighth graders that i see starting next year and helping pc rise back to the top with wayne co.

Waynesboro's junior high team has a combined record of 52-4 for the past two years. A lot of potential coming, we will see how it pans out over the next 3-5 years. Excitement is brewing in Wayne County!
