Haha, I can tell you are new at this. But if being underrated and trying to be "sneaky" about it, then why did you even post this topic? Ha. Yeah, I do agree that being underrated is a good thing, coming into the wrestling season. About midway through, though, if the wrestler is good, then people will see him perform well at tournaments. Just look at Morgan Abrigo his junior year in high school.

haha.. just alittle.. but thats what having a slow computer gets you... /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.. but, you do have a point morgan kinda snuck up on everybody.. idk if that was because of the school or what.. i think the father ryan tournament will be a perfect test for alot of wrestlers. i wouldnt be surprised if there were atleast 2 wrestlers in each weight class sneak up on everyone.

If you ask me i think one of the most underrated wrestler in Tennessee is Todd Worley from Hixson. He the 215 pounder and has beaten the #4 in the state and the #6 in the state. i think he is THE most underrated wrestler in TN. Cause even after hes won all those, he isn't even ranked.

I agree. I havent seen him much, but he impressed me when I saw him at bradley.

I think any guy that shows up to practice every day and works hard, and doesn't break the lineup is underrated. A lot of people think its only hard work for the varsity and they are dead wrong /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />.

as for an individual i can think of, i think Bailey Jones of Cleveland is underrated...we'll see how he improves through the year (seeing as he's only a sophomore)

Max Ofori of cleveland is also a first year wrestler...not necessarily underrated but i think he will turn out to be a late bloomer like morgan abrigo /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

well, ya know.. the 215 from Glencliff beat the number 2 state ranked guy in the father ryan.. and placed higher than both the number 3 and number 2 in state.. soo, im guessing 215 has alot of surprises.. i look to see alot of upsets around state time..

    • That would probably be the AD and he should be gone too
    • I disagree. No one is asking about the academic investigation anymore and that’s because the people at the top knew it would be their butts that would have to answer for a lack of oversight if that was the view of the public. How could they derail that completely? How about playing on the emotions of the people of the community by self reporting a kid academically ineligible when the news reported they and the AD knew someone changed the kids grades and no one brings that up? Is that kids grade one of the 1000 or so is that a completely separate situation?    and if it was a completely different  situation then why would they want to make the coach and team forfeit every game from the schools second best season ever in the mist of an active investigation where the coach was implicated but somewhat loosely….
    • One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.
    • They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.
    • And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull
