mrbasketball Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 I BELIEVE BOTH WENT IN 50'S AND 60'S AND THE BOYS IN 77 AND AT LEAST 3 TIMES IN 60'S i heard from a member of the so called "greatest team to ever come from the upper cumberland", that would be the '64 blue devils, that the boys from j.c. have never won a state tournament game. maybe this years bunch can keep up the streak their own and change that. For a little history: 68 Girls--Guards, Nancy Johnson, Pat Thompson, Alma Flatt Forwards, Debbie Brown, Peggy Brewington, Denise Draper For you young people, they played 6 on 6 back then. 68 Boys--Ray Dennis, Roy Pate, Ray Apple, Larry Roberts, Dwight Fox Didn't Quentin Fox play too?
