Club - Prep Solution?

This marks the beginning of the first cycle in which the State Championships for club were held in the fall and Prep State Championships were held in the Spring. It seems that all the focus at Spring Fling was correctly channeled into prep soccer.

 

Now that one cycle has been completed, was this the right thing to do? It would be great to hear the response from the players and their feelings.

Although they did change the club state to the fall as a player I do not think this helps Tennessee teams at all. Most other states in our region have been playing club all spring where we have only 3 weeks to get acquainted with our old teammates. I don??™t think there is a solution unless the whole club and high school seasons were completely switched...... Not likely

I don't think we will really know until after our TN Club teams play in the "Regionals". Where they will have only played HS soccer and no Club State Tournament, before showing up at "Regionals".
