Carlton Flatt Back Coaching At Eagleville?

Coming back: One year away was enough for former Brentwood Academy Coach Carlton Flatt, the winningest coach in state history with 354 victories. He was back on the field Monday as an Eagleville assistant.

 

"I'd just say it's quite an adjustment for me," Flatt said. "I'll always love Brentwood Academy, but based on the pressures and all that stuff, this is a good thing for me. Not to be pushing so hard or spending 12 to 15 hours a day on football … I'm enjoying a different role and basically just getting to work with kids."

Wonder if the old Ball coach can live the life of an assistant. The Head Coach needs to keep looking over his shoulder for some posturing.

Flatt was really good at what he did... run a dominate private school program. I would say that he can really help Eagleville get better, but I also would bet he would be really frustrated trying to operate without the luxieries he has been accustomed to. I don't see him wanting this job just like he didn't want the Moore Co. job.
