Rossview VS. Maplewood

Still a long way to go but it's a good sign in the Hawks first preseason test that's for sure.

Rossview hoste Maplewood Friday the final score was 7-7 Maplewood and Rossview both had the size and speed and virtually matched 1st team vs 1st team.....John Stone was solid on the line for Maplewood as was Shawn Kelley in the backfield for Rossview and a trio of quarterbacks in Eric Simon,Thomas Burks, and Drew Padgett. So what does this mean for the Hawks this season how do you predict them in region 6-4A this year.They host DCA this Friday.

a scrimmage can build momentum. for rossview to hold the high powered panthers in check is great. however, NE only lost to the panthers by 7 last year and look what happened. yet I believe this will be a great year for the hawks. predict a 3 or 4 seed this season. With Galbreath and Kelly running the ball, the hawks may finally have the offense to complement the defense that seems to be tough year in and out.
